I bet they put MC on the practice squad. The guy could be a force once he learns how to run routes and figures out the offense.

Only if he is still available to sign. I think if he is, no question the Packers resign him to the PS. I just don't think he will be available for very long.

Thus the "smart". The smart move by Elway was letting him walk in Free Agency and getting the 3rd round compensatory as well as not paying him what the Texans did. Picking him back up now? Jury is still out. Osweiler is smiling all the way to the bank.

I don't know what is reliable anymore. it says may made it. overlooked jones. so it's official that ty, williams and jones are our rbs? I liked mays, he did pretty well in preseason.

I don't really take anything as official until after tomorrow when subsequent moves have been made as well as the PS is announced. If you add up the numbers, there are still more guys that were cut, the names just haven't been released.

I imagine in the very near future, the NFL and ESPN will figure out a way to make a ton of money televising "cut day".....it will be 6 hrs of non-stop commercials and dramatic moments. Fallout from the "Sh*tshow" at the CB position last year? I had a sneaky feeling they would go with 5 WR's and make it 6 when Allison is back. I didn't watch a lot of Pipkins. I think he had a pick in one game? They must have really liked what they saw of him in practice. But 7 CB's? I guess I am one guilty of saying they didn't have deep enough talent back there last year....so blame me!

The Packers could easily lose someone to the IR after the 1st game. I wouldn't sweat who gets released to make room for Allison until after week 1.

It's possible we've reached the end of the Don Barclay era. Or he goes to IR.

I understand Barclay is expected to be back by week 2-3. He actually had a pretty good camp until the injury and, sadly, is our #1 back up in the interior line. Sure wouldn't IR him with our complete lack of depth there.
