Sorry guys but ANY team that makes it to the big game, their QB deserves at the very least respect.
When Denver won their last SB, Peyton was next to useless. Had stats wise than his rookie year and worst of his career. 9 TDs and just over 2000 yards all season.
He's the first to acknowledge that the team (Def especially) carried him and acknowledged that in ESPY awards publicly.
We've had cases like Dilfer who won SBs with an abysmal season record and decidedly unworthy QB performances.
Now this has nothing to do with Jimmy or SF, but just disputing your claim that QB must have a role in team success. Evidently not.
