NFL Network's Mike Silver was the first one to report it.
i read his piece but it doesn't mention hammy. just checked his twitter and he's retracting:

Now updating my story. Was evaluated for undisclosed injury. Not believed to be serious. Sorry for the confusion. My bad.

I don't know if it's the injuries to the defense but as a whole they have not been sharp or played aggressively since the Seattle game. What's up with that?

The reason the defense hasn't performed at a high level is that the current coaching staff isn't able to field a unit being talented enough to contain elite offenses. I have absolutely no idea if scheme or a lack of talent is mostly to blame for it but as long as the Packers hold on to both Thompson and Capers there's no definite way to find out.

I keep coming back to that "Talent or coach"......"coach or talent"....the bottom line for me, if the Defense doesn't get any better, can it get much worse by hiring a new DC? We all know TT isn't going anywhere until he decides to move on. Capers on the other hand has had more than his opportunity to do something, especially given the amount of draft resources being pumped into the D and this year that was even augmented by Free Agents. I am seriously to the point with Capers......"Sh*t or get off the pot*

Maybe these young guys would play better and harder for a coach they could get on board with both schematically and emotionally. I have watched the Badgers flip 3 DC's in the last 3 years.....all young and upcoming guys......and the Badger defense keeps playing hard nosed solid defensive football.

The Packers should make a move either way as doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results is mind-boggling.

I'm more inclined to part with Capers at this point.

I'm the same way. I hope Capers sends AR a Thank You card after every season, because Capers still being in GB, I believe is tied to an organization that heavily relies on #12. AR makes some people forget just how bad our defense played on any given Sunday. Yesterday being a perfect example of it. Capers is status quo for an organization that might be afraid to fart just the wrong way.

"Mason Cross Bar"......he sure likes to call him that like it is an insult, yet he remembers the dagger Mason put through the Cowturds last year.

I was kind of hoping to see Skid ****less pass out during his rant.....he must have been sitting on a toilet, based on the sh*t coming out of him.

You still can't talk to a Cowboy fan without getting a mention of Dez No Catch. They still can't get over it :)

As long as we keep winning, I like this rivalry.

I listened to Arod's presser after the game. That guy is off the chain genius. He must have a photographic memory. He recalled an audible from 2014 against the Dolphins as the last time he called a certain audible.

His knowledge of the game, coverages and situations blew my mind. I thought I had some idea of what a quarterback is to be successful but I now know that I am an idiot.

He was calling the plays at least at the end.

He is a BAD MAN!

Now I just wish he coached the defense.

No.....he's Batman! Although, if you talk to a Cowboy fan today he is anyone ranging from Satan to God.

The 2nd half of the Bengals game and the whole Bears game were both very sharp.

I read through that whole thread, freakin funny. Most were predicting the actual outcome from the beginning. Like reading the comics, or this forum sometimes.

I now stay out of our chat box, but I bet the game was declared over in favor of Dallas mutilple times early on.

While that's true those teams currently rank 27th and 30th in points scored respectively at the moment.
Additionally, if one wants to include the Seattle game, they're only ranked tied for 14th in points scored, and that's skewed dramatically, given that they had their way with scoring a combined 73 points against Indianapolis and Tennessee, which just so happen to be the worst two scoring defenses in the NFL.
