Packers 42

Broncos: 9

Time to spread a little optimism in this forum!
Hold on, if anyone has been optimistic here, it's me. XD

For the past two weeks I feel like I've been one of the few individuals on here who had our team winning both games, whereas everyone was pessimistic going into these games, thinking we'd lose.

Packers look to get better every week, defense should have fun this week. Offense I pray jenkins will get the nod at gaurd soon. I say we 3-0 after week 3.

I didn't feel good about Minny or Chicago.

I feel good about this game.

I apologise ahead of time.

On a serious note, I expect Kenny Clark to again dominate.

I think we should see King on Sutton, and Jaire on Sanders.

Have to get pressure on Flacco. He's not a great QB, but he's been around forever. Give him time, and he'll find somebody. Big, but not overly mobile.

Lindsey and Freeman are both pretty good backs.

We should win.

Haven’t watched the Broncos for more than a couple plays at a time, but they have scored 16 and 14 points respectively this season. 27 of their 30 points have come in the second half, and 21 of those 30 points came in the 4th quarter. It’s only a theory, but I would venture to say they scored those points against softer coverages in the second half and mostly 4th quarter due to the opponent being ahead.

Nothing about their offense scares me. And it’s at home. I can’t find a way to justify saying they will score more than 17 points. At least they shouldn’t in my opinion.

Denver’s defense is solid, but far from elite like the Bears and Vikings. I’ll go out on a limb and say the Packers win by two Scores.

27-17. Offense more consistent throughout, stalls a couple times in the red zone still. But...improvement.

I really hope this is the game where are offense starts clicking for a full game, but I doubt it. I still think we need one strong weapon for Rodgers for this to happen consistently and for teams to start fearing us again, and for this reason I expect another somewhat mediocre performance of our O. Our D will again win us this game , and again, it is going to be close: 20-14.

Wondering how many posters have seen this? If Brandon was around I could see him jumping on board and doing it! You couldn't even get me to put on a Bears jersey for a day for $2000

Speaking of Brandon, I wonder how's doing with Washington now that they are 0-2. Wasn't that the team he said he was defecting to?

absolutely! there's no reason to expect them to beat den. wink
Ok gary I'm with @PackAttack12. What is it about Denver that possess problems for us, especially at home? I feel like at this point you're cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I'll give my prediction later.

For $2000.00 I wouldn't get a twitter, instagram or Reddit account so I guess that leaves me out.

I'd wear a Bears 34 Jersey and maybe even a 6 (that's almost as good as a Packers jersey right?) but I can't think of a cowboys or vikings jersey I would wear.

I'm actually in a bet right now with a Dallas fan. Basically whoever advances farther in the playoffs, the loser has to wear the opposing team's jersey and hat. That's one of the reasons why I have a lot at stake this year. XD

I used to say the same thing, but a few years ago I opened a Twitter account and I love it. If you are choosy on who you follow, it actually is a great way to get quick, up to the minute information on something you might be interested in. I mainly use mine for sports and have found media people who seem to have the inside scoop on a ton of stuff.

But yeah, as far as the "social" BS that goes on with some of those programs, no thanks. I don't have time to find out what people I knew 25 years ago are doing.

I take it you're not going to your high school reunion then? One of my ex workmates asked me to go, which is honestly the only reason why I'm going.

Haven't attended one yet. I live in the same general area that I went to H.S. and I stay in touch with a handful of friends from H.S. As far as the other 450 people I went to HS with, they are just people I never got to know and not to sound cold, but I could really care less as to what they are doing now.

I went to my 15 year by accident. I was driving by a bar I hadn't stopped at in a while and as I was walking in I started to recognize everybody. Turns out its where they had the pre reunion bar party. I didn't even know it was my reunion weekend. I suppose they had my 35th a couple of years ago but so far I have only gotten an invitation for one of them. It kind of ****** me off too. I have no idea how they tracked me down for that one.

I lived in the same area for about 15 years then I moved away. Other than a cousin who I see maybe every 5 years I bet since I graduated I can count on both hands the number of times I have talked to people I went to highschool with. (That would be 10 for those of you who may be mathematically challenged or for those of you who for some reason or another have been lead to believe that I have either more or less that the usual number of digits. Just because you see me holding up 1 finger all the time doesn't mean I don't have the others.) This doesn't include the night mentioned above of course. I probably talked to 12 or 13 people that night.

Good news on Darnell Savage!!

Tests on Darnell Savage's shin showed just a bone contusion, his agent Seth Katz told ESPN. Expect a light week of on-field activity, but the rookie starting safety is preparing as if he will play Sunday against the Broncos. The 21st pick in the draft... http://espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41077117-4
