Well, even despite a disappointing last two weeks, I'm still ready for football to start again on Sunday.

Now the way I see it, I really cannot cut this team slack if we don't get on a roll, score and score big. Their defense has been atrocious this season and Cameron Wake is not playing.

On offense, it's Brock Osweiler without his best receiver in Albert Wilson and most of the offense I suspect going through Frank Gore, Kenyan Drake and Nick O'Leary.

We're at home, and imo there's no excuse for another 49ers game. Offense needs to do its job and score 38 or more.

The way I see it theres two possibilities. They might win or they might lose. Depends on which team shows up if they will win or not.

I don't think we need to win out to make the playoffs, but we definitely need to quit beating ourselves and get on a roll.

In other words, Dolphins 41-14.

I think whichever team scores more points has a pretty good shot at winning this one.

forget about it. with the inconsistency, the just above average play from our disgruntled prima donna qb, injuries, lack of quality depth, play calling, and questions hanging over the head coach...it ain't happenin'.

You call yourself a fan? Also, I'd love to hear how Aaron Rodgers is a "prima donna".

yes...for 54+ years. running the table isn't going to happen. they'll beat miami...hopefully. there's just too much going on internally with this team for optimism. maybe next season with coaching staff changes, guts, money, a good draft, and free agency.
Again, I'd love to hear how Aaron Rodgers is a "prima donna."

Agreed. I found myself almost enjoying the game more without expectations. Not that I enjoyed the loss, but I don't get as frustrated or find myself yelling at the tv. :)

you're more worried about what his prima donna tendencies than his barely above average play?
So, you can't answer the question? You said it, and I am wondering what you believe causes him to be a "prima donna" in your opinion.

google it, listen to milwaukee/green bay sports radio, listen to the nation media. he's Favre-like in his prima donna-ness. it's out there. take the green and gold glasses off. being a prima donna isn't necessarily bad but being a disgruntled one is.

I don't think he is any more than Favre ever was, in fact probably less so. And I think certainly no more than the man he faced off against last Sunday ever was in his prime. Only prima Donna QB in this league as of this moment I'd say is Cam Newton.

Now, having said that, the season at 3-4-1 definitely hangs in the balance right now. Bears are 5-3, Vikings are 5-3-1, and given where we are in the playoff race, I'm betting winning this division will be the only way we'd go in ... Well barring what happens with our Seattle and Atlanta games which are looming large.

I'm not going to say winning this game suddenly magically turns the season around, but there is a big difference between 4-4-1 and 3-5-1.

We go 4-4-1, we're then only one game behind Minny who is off this week. Pretty likely the Bears will be 6-3 considering I'm not banking on the raddy Detroit Lions to pull out a win in Soldier Field.

We get a win today though and we can get things jump-started to take on the Hawks on Thursday 15th and then have the game that decides our playoff fate against Minny on the final Sunday of November.

Basically though, these next three games are must-wins I'd say to get the run the table started.

I have heard everything in the media. I have seen/heard no evidence of Aaron being any more of a "prima donna" than the average QB. I wanted to know what YOU believe is an example of Aaron being a "prima donna". You again have failed to address my question to YOU.

Rodgers is just simply a frustrated QB, and given a mix of certain events that have been happening including being robbed of a chance to drive the team down and get a game winning score in LA, I for one have trouble blaming him. Just because you visibly display your frustration does not make you a prima Donna.

At this point I wish the Packers wouldn't have given Rodgers the team check book,
and used that $$$$ to sign quality players.
Sooner or later we have to look for another qb, and I wonder if the packers jump to quickly.
