I have a different opinion than you, so that makes me childish. Quite funny. :)

I guess the newspaper was childish to publish a story detailing how the playoffs are still possible.

https://www.jsonline.com/story/spor...-packers-can-still-reach-playoffs/2113877002/

My question is this: If the Packers make the playoffs, will you go away?? :)

Opinions are great and they are what make this forum thrive as well as what make it fun. I listen to/read just about everyone's opinion, including yours. What I don't do is run around to each thread and stamp every post I see that goes against my opinion with a RED X. That just makes a person look like a kid who wants everyone to know only his opinion is right. Now if I say something as bold as "The Cleveland Browns are the best team in the NFL", I would expect a RED X and it would be warranted.

Now you may have a different opinion of what using your RED X is all about but you seem like a Stat guy so I will give you these stats.

You have posted 332 times since joining this forum and have given out 164 RED X's. I on the other hand have posted 13,423 times and given out 47 Red X's. I will let you decide who the child with a Red Crayon is.

My apologizes. I didn't realize you were the RED X moderator. I am so sorry for going over my allotment.

The fact that you disagree so little just tells me you subscribe to "groupthink", something I want no part of. Try forming your own opinions instead of just agreeing with everything the majority says.

hahaha ooof, shots fired. I am curious to understand what your extreme self-made opinion is Title Town USA, please do elaborate. Is it the fact that the Packers can still 'technically mathematically' make the playoffs? Because thats not an opinion, it's a mere fact that all of us have acknowledged. Except many of us also rationally understand that it aint happening this season. But for your sake I really hope they are 'technically mathematically' in the thick of things right up until the last match. At that point I wouldn't know which I prefer. Us winning and still having a slim chance to get in, or a 95 yard TD by old man Blount to shatter any hope of getting in, let alone compete in the playoffs

I don't need to, you will be irrelevant all on your own soon enough, what the Packers do over the next 5 games won't change that.
Sounds like someone is scared the Packers might reach the playoffs. :) Won't matter, you'll eat crow either way soon enough.

It's at this point I know you're not a real fan.

Being delusional is not a necessary characteristic of being a true fan mate. And assuming we can consider you to be the 'shining example' of a true fan, understanding irony isnt either

I suppose Aaron Rodgers is delusional then as well since he believes the Packers can make the playoffs. If being "delusional" means you have a different way of thinking from all the "groupthink" that goes on here, then I'll gladly be whatever you want to call me. :) You could probably take about 10 users and combine them into 1 account so we don't have to hear the same message over and over.

Maybe try establishing a somewhat more objective and realistic view than that of the ‘captain of the ship’ who’s job it is to keep hopes up against all odds (IF Aarod actually believes that there is a significant chance - I highly doubt it though). It might aid you in your credibility. But then again, thats not what you are going for. You kind of remind me of that one kid I had in school that just had to differ from everyone else just for the sake of it. He’d be emo untill anyone else would start colouring his/her lips purple.

But lets end it now. You are absolutely right, the Packers can reach the playoffs. But in all fairness, they really cant.

I almost forgot - as buggy always (except now :)) reminds us, there IS an Ignore button. Just employed it, so, other than quoted replies, the old blood pressure should start to return to normal.

Sorry but that one deserved the red X... I probably use it too often... but just to be clear.... You need to realize that it is considered pretty rude in here to put a red X on someone’s post... If that is who you want to be perceived to be.. fine... but I thought you might not understand that. As far as what you said about Pokerbrat2000.... you haven’t been here long enough to have earned the right to form such a ridiculous opinion.

The big red X just looks too offensive. It comes across as a big middle finger.
Maybe if they made the heart the sign for disagree, it would come across as more friendly.

I don't take it quite as bad as a middle finger, but what I think is comical are people who use it over and over on the same subject that they have already posted their opinion on and if you write something contrary to their opinion, which you already know, they just keep Red Xing you. Or they use it and never explain why they disagree.

Meh.....if people are here long enough, they figure it out.

I wanted to disagree with your post but I didn't want to seem rude.:D I can get away with that with Poker (did I remove the disagree from that post yet, I don't recall) but some people are to serious and literal.

Seriously I think its only rude if you don't go on to explain why you disagree.
