I know we had the 37th annual already. We Amish reuse our old calendars in a particular pattern.

How it works:

Supply 20 names of players and the round the Packers may take them.

Rules:
  • Select a total of 20 Players
  • Pick at least 1 player per round
  • List their name and position.
  • Thread gets locked when 1st pick is on the clock

Correct Player: 3 pts
Correct Player in Correct Round: 3 PLUS the round number pts

Therefore if you go:

Round-Player
1 - Bob wr
1 - Mack pk
2 - Steve te
2 - Ed olb
3 – Chuck wr
4 - Marty s
5 - Pete s

And the Packers draft Ed in the 3rd and Pete in the 5th, your points would be:

Ed (correct player) 3 pts
Pete (correct Player in Round 5) 3 + 5 = 8 pts
11 pts total

Talk about showing your cards! That made me feel like an **** Robert’s Alumni just after the Ohio State upset. Thank you !
PS this is Brilliant. We could stash 13 of them on the PS and farm them for future trades.

Teams can sign practice squad players without trading for them.

I think it’s an intriguing strategy. If the Packers draft 3 WR like some here probably think will happen, you’ve got a decent shot to get 9 points minimum. That’s probably better strategy than trying to get in Gutekunst’s head.
How would that have worked last year when everyone "KNEW" Gute was needing to draft several WRs.

Not so good eh? He had 4 under contract all the way through 2021. He didn’t need any.
Right now I don’t see any WR’s under contract for 2022 except for Funchess? I will be very surprised if we don’t draft at least one WR and possibly two or even three this year.

Hang on did we give Funchess a multi year extension I missed??

I don’t remember what his restructured contract is. He was originally signed for 2 years

It was actually only a 1 year. He opted out of 2020 due to Covid and also agreed to a reduced contract with some incentives recently.

I think you just misread and are mistaken. 1 year is all I've been able to find. Opt out, pushed that one year to 2021 season which he did a small restructure to as well.

Yeah probably so. I thought the Packers had originally signed him to a 2 year deal. I don’t keep up very well on outsider signings.
