I don't understand why you guys are so in love with Campbell, he's maybe the 5th-8th best WR in the position group this year, and I'd probably put Ridley ahead of him. So why you guys would take him over Harry, Metcalf, M. Brown, A. Brown, and Morgan Jr at 12th overall is beyond me.

I feel like at OSU all he did was run go routes and deep posts with the occasional sweep and outrun everyone. The NFL has faster athletes with even better technique which will negate that to some extent. All I see is a speed guy who ran a limited route tree and had some issues with dropped passes. I'd rather not draft a speedier but less refined J'Mon Moore.

For the record I don't hate Campbell, I just don't think he's worthy of the 12th Overall, 32nd would depend on how many WRs were already off the board. I wish he had gotten an invite to one of the All-Star games(how does Hunter Renfrow get an invite to the Senior Bowl and he doesn't?) which would change my tune if he perfomed but he didn't. Just have to wait and see at this point.

He had 90 receptions for over a 1000 yards and 12 TD's in a loaded Ohio State offense. He single handedly blew Michigan out of the building. His production plus talent merits a 1st round consideration. His route running has drastically improved in 2018. The only knock on him is his blocking. This guy has improved every year and worked his tail off to improve both pass catching and route running. That's exactly what you want to see in a prospect is someone developing and getting better every year

I have him as the 3rd best receiver coming out. I also am not advocating to pick him 12. I want him at 32 or a traded back 12th pick if Packers acquire Antonio Brown with 32 pick. Cobb is as good as gone so PC would fill an immediate need while upgrading the position at the same time in the slot.

This is what Brandon does. He picks a pet prospect and turns every conversation and thread towards said prospect. He's pointless to reason with. It could be 2025, Parris Campbell has busted and flamed out of the league, and he'd still be telling you he was right.

First of all I'm not the only one who likes PC. There are a lot of local fans that want him as well. "What Brandon does" is try to provide players(both offensive and defensive) that can potentially help get this team back to where it needs to be.

Anyone who doesn't believe having Joe Mixon(heading into year 3) and Courtland Sutton(heading into season 2) with our offensive needs helping us right now is an idiot. Now of course that doesn't mean I'm always right. Charles Harris for example hasn't lived up to the hype but he never made it to our pick anyways.

Lastly, there are MANY players I like in this draft and potential free agents as well. I dont just jump from player to player like 90 percent of the people on here do as I research pretty heavily before I bandstand like others on here do. I will be releasing my mock when the time is right.

One thing that will always be consistent with the draft, is the inconsistency of perception. Once you get out of the top 10, players appear all over draft boards. DraftTek has Campbell at #160, CBS at 91, Walters has him as the 3rd best WR and going off the board in round 1 or 2.

A lot of players to keep track of and whoever the flavor of the day is on one, could be last weeks burnt special for another.

Whenever Campbell ends up being drafted, I am sure that particular fan base will have people saying he was a reach, as well as some saying he was a steal. Who knows?

Most thought Josh Jackson was a steal last year, now I am not so sure.

Jackson showed at combine he lacked anything close to elite speed though so it's pretty easy to see why he struggles in man coverage in the NFL. At 4.56 he was never gonna go in the first round so I never thought he was a "steal". He had the tape but didnt have the numbers. So the equation goes tape+production+marginal combine numbers= 2-3rd round grade. He was actually a slight reach where Packers took him.

Campbell will run somewhere between 4.25-4.35 along with a vertical jump around 40 inches so with a projected performance like that the Tape+Production+elite Combine numbers=1st round grade.

Jackson didn't check all the boxes and Parris Campbell does.

It's that simple

I like all of these guys, dont know enough about the others.

Parris Campbell would add something different to the Packers and I hope he is considered at #32.

We are going to find out a bunch of things at the senior bowl about some players. Probably more so than the combine. Adderley at S may become the top safety. Furgeson is a sack machine. Heard good things and bad things about his game translating to the next level.

I would be curious to see your big board.

Two years ago, every thread became a Charles Harris thread. Last year, every thread became a Courtland Sutton thread.

I have no doubt that you like other players. But that hasn't stopped you from derailing every thread to make it about your guy that year.

If that's "not what Brandon does," prove it. Have conversations where you're not shoving your guy and your offense only stuff down everyone's throat.

And you should stop crowing about Mixon. Literally no one opposed drafting him on the basis of talent.

Campbell doesn't have good or natural hands. Double catches a lot of stuff. Brings it in with his body. So that's a large concern.

His route tree is very undeveloped. He doesn't show pacing in his routes, or an understanding of much else beyond a go route and screens. For a senior, he's quite raw in the two most important parts of being a WR: route running and hands.

He's excellent in the open field, he has elite speed (that seems to translate only to the go route in his route tree), he's definitely a gadget player. He'll never be like Tyreek Hill, he's not that good.

Honestly, a mix between Cordarelle Patterson and Ted Ginn Jr.

Speedy gadget player with inconsistent hands that wasn't even a deep threat against slow Big 10 DB's with a QB that had a rifle.

I would like to formally dibs all players in the 2019 draft. Henceforth, any time Brandon mentions a draft elgible player, officially he will be "picking up my crumbs."

Just so we are all on the same page.

I cant help it if a discussion continues and people (Mostly you Janis Jubilee) continue to challenge my opinion. Even so, I call that healthy debate. Your being a simpleton if you dont think I'm talking about other players that I want the Packers to get.

"Offense Only"? Well yeah it's about time. Where has "Defense Only" gotten us? At the very least we will need to balance it out.

Joe Mixon? If it was so damn obvious then why isn't he wearing Green and Gold right now?

What "Brandon Does" is provide picks > Dantes and Jubilee.

That silly nilly Brandon. The nerve of that guy. He wants the Packers to win and actually give Aaron Rodgers more weapons. What planet is he from. OMG.

Because he punched a woman in the face on video.

Just like you assured us that Calvin Ridley sucks. Thanks again for that btw.

I still don't want Calvin Ridley. He had a decent rookie year but he played in an Atlanta offense with Matt Ryan in a dome. He slowed down big time down the stretch and had an amazing 1 catch for 10 yards at Lambeau.

Ridley is not the answer to our problems.

You finally figured it out! I'm doing all I can to make sure the Packers don't win! Since I have so much control over who they draft and what not. You can guarantee Gute is coming over here just to read my opinion.

We all think what we're doing is right ********. You're not special.

You don't like him then fine. I've more then explained why I believe he would be a good fit for the Packers etc etc etc.

Josh Jones won't be counted on to play box safety, guarantee that. He's not good.

I remember how impressive he looked in his first training camp. He's got some real skills that somehow didn't translate into being a football player.

Totally. If we could just replace MVS's 463 and 2 with Sutton's vastly superior 614 and 3, we'd be Super Bowl bound.

And imagine if we could tack on Charles Harris' 2 career sacks! Domination.

I'm not sure I've ever encountered someone, even on football forums, who crowed so much about mediocre to bad takes.

Then you never met HYATT on the Packer Report board.

There's not many more pressing needs than Guard. We're awful there and interior pressure is kinda important

You beat me to it. Our right guard sucks, left guard is below average and actually iffy after a down year. I'd love to see just a solid vet guard in FA, and also draft a guard and tackle within the first 4 rounds. We have a solid left tackle and center, plus a fragile Bulaga, no guards and no depth. I think OL is second only to edge rusher in need.

Hawkeye fans I talk to say Tj is better than Fant and Fant will be the first or second te taken. Bama has a really good te I have seen mocked to the Packers as well. There is also a good te out of Missouri. All depends who comes out early but if Fant, Hockenson, Smith from Alabama, and the guy from Missouri whose last name I can't spell all come out early I would hope the Packers wait until round 2 to draft a te. I doubt all 4 would go before the Packers pick

In my usually wrong opinion, Hockenson will be better than Fant, but he hasn't declared for the draft yet. As a Hawkeye fan, I'd love to see him stay at Iowa, unless the Packers get him. Fant is one of those looks like tarzan, plays like Jane guys.

Free agency affects some of this but if we could get Earl Thomas and Dee Ford this would have us winning again.

1A) Parris Campbell WR OSU
1B) Montez Sweat Edge MSU
2) Chris Lindstrom G BC
3) Andre Dillard OT WSU
4) Lamical Perine RB Florida

Well since someone asked I posted this regarding Dillard back on December 19th in this very same thread.

With that said I dont know if Diillard will fit what the Packers want to do on offense moving forward but he is great in pass pro.
