After Richardson came into the game the Packers limited the Falcons offense 19 yards on 10 carries. Richardson only had one tackle but according to the JS he was a phyiscal presence in run support.

There's nothing unethical about getting great production per dollar out of a rookie, draft and develop teams count on it. Lots of guys in the NFL are very underpaid if you go by what their FA value would be -- R. Wilson, A. Morris, Byrant, Jeffrey. Rookie contracts, just the way it is

Pay should reflect pay, and quite frankly I hate the idea of grinding a young man's body to a pulp an paying bottom dollar while doing it. Lacy isn't Dez Bryant or Russell Wilson, Running Backs are a different breed and suffer a much greater physical toll.

Morris rushed for over 1,600 last year and is still making under 500K. Lacy is just under 900 with under 4 YPC. Let's hold off on $5M a year for him just yet. We have plenty of current needs without worrying about extensions for well-performing rookies.
