Dec 13, 2015 at 6:26 PM - AKCheese: No scope, no inline
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:26 PM - SeahawkFan80: A friend had that too. I was going for WT with my 06 late hunt.
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:27 PM - AKCheese: I got a small white tail, first time hunting there...zero pressure to move deer
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:27 PM - SeahawkFan80: Yep...that kinda stinks when you expect them to move.
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:27 PM - AKCheese: I sat, my son walked.... Cold sitting this year...low teens
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:28 PM - SeahawkFan80: agreed.

Dec 13, 2015 at 6:29 PM - SeahawkFan80: my problem was there was still wood up there to be had for the stove and it is all wet now under snow.

Dec 13, 2015 at 6:32 PM - SeahawkFan80: My buddy would have sneaked up on it knowing it was there. He is that good.

Dec 13, 2015 at 6:33 PM - SeahawkFan80: He is about 62 or so.
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:34 PM - SeahawkFan80: we hunt mountains.....and not too many hills where we go. ******* mt is somewhat close.

Dec 13, 2015 at 6:36 PM - AKCheese: Issue is not encroaching on my sons family for too long
Dec 13, 2015 at 6:36 PM - AKCheese: Might look for some cheap mom and pop motels

Dec 13, 2015 at 6:42 PM - SeahawkFan80: I did that with oregon and can go to any campground and stay for free without power. And have done so.

Dec 13, 2015 at 7:56 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: We gonna beat Carolina if Mike McCarthy stays on as play caller
Dec 13, 2015 at 7:57 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: He hath fixed our offense and put it on full display tonight sending a message that opponents beware

Dec 13, 2015 9:42 PM - melvin dangerr: who is #2 if they did fire Capers?
Dec 14, 2015 5:53 AM - scotscheese: yoyo
Dec 14, 2015 6:17 AM - Green and Gold: Apparently we are a running offense! Who knew?
Dec 14, 2015 6:34 AM - easyk83: Capers has silenced his doubters since the Denver game
Dec 14, 2015 6:55 AM - Raptorman: Now, aren't you guys happy the Vikings traded Cassel to the Bills, who promptly cut him several months later.
Dec 14, 2015 6:56 AM - longtimefan: https://www.packerforum.com/threads/mike-daniels-signs-4-year-42m-extension-contract.64363/
Dec 14, 2015 6:57 AM - longtimefan: daniels agrees to extension
Dec 14, 2015 6:59 AM - ls1bob: I am glad.Daniels brings some fire to the defense
Dec 14, 2015 7:00 AM - ThePerfectBeard: That's awesome news!
Dec 14, 2015 7:00 AM - ThePerfectBeard: Love me some Daniels
Dec 14, 2015 7:08 AM - The program 61: profootballtalk is funny they think its mike neal
Dec 14, 2015 7:09 AM - The program 61: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/12/14/2368527/
Dec 14, 2015 7:26 AM - The program 61: and they finally changed it
Dec 14, 2015 8:03 AM - PackerFanLV: Mike Daniels got new deal? Like 44 million something like that?
Dec 14, 2015 8:04 AM - PackerFanLV: Nvm I just saw the link program put up
Dec 14, 2015 8:15 AM - Joe2887: I love the total 180 this offense did when McCarthy took over calling. The team looked rejuvenated
Dec 14, 2015 8:15 AM - Joe2887: Eddie Lacy looked like his old self. I like Tretter in at Center, we seem to run the ball better with him in there.
Dec 14, 2015 8:46 AM - azrsx05: Tretter seems to move quick to block linebackers and that's how he opens up the running game better. I like him better thank Linsley out there. Bahktiari is one stupid play away from getting Rodgers killed or at least he's hanging on to the guys to get a holding call.
Dec 14, 2015 8:59 AM - Joe2887: Yeah, I always get scared when they have a good DE or LB lined up across from Bahk.. He just seems to get out performed by the defensive player on every play
Dec 14, 2015 9:12 AM - ls1bob: Just hear AR interview on Mad Dog radio. Really good interview
Dec 14, 2015 9:14 AM - ls1bob: Pretty much said he had talked to Lacy about the preparation and told Eddie that the Packers needed him to step up to go far. He said we all need to be held accountable at some time
Dec 14, 2015 9:24 AM - 4Ever4Favre: The timing of the plays called was definately better, however, the passing game was no better than previous weeks. Our run game showed up but Rodgers is still off.
Dec 14, 2015 9:25 AM - 4Ever4Favre: Worst call of the game, Rodgers QB sneak up the gut. Why not hand the ball off to Lacy, Rodgers is not a QB sneak kinda guy (maybe on a bootleg).
Dec 14, 2015 9:43 AM - Joe2887: Yeah the QB sneak was so predictable.
Dec 14, 2015 10:21 AM - adambr2: I disagree. It almost worked (maybe actually did depending on which angle you saw). They don't run a ton of sneaks with Rodgers, so I don't know why it was predictable. If Eddie gets stuffed in the backfield we're asking the same thing and calling that predictable. There's no golden ticket play on 4th and short that will work every time, gotta block and execute it.
Dec 14, 2015 10:51 AM - 4Ever4Favre: No, Cam Newton can run those type of sneaks, not AR. Rodgers could have easily jumped and stuck his arms out to break the plane but that is not him. There is no such thing as "almost" working. Almost working is called failure.
Dec 14, 2015 10:52 AM - 4Ever4Favre: Plus I am not sure what made them believe our O-line could push anyone back.
Dec 14, 2015 11:27 AM - JP Doyal: I think he should've tried to go under instead of over..
Dec 14, 2015 11:27 AM - JP Doyal: Also handing it off to Kuhn wouldn't have been a bad call.
Dec 14, 2015 11:28 AM - JP Doyal: I was honestly surprised McCarthy went for it that early in the game!
Dec 14, 2015 11:35 AM - adambr2: We've seen plenty of times Lacy has gotten the rock on 3rd/4th and short and came up short and people complained about the predictability of the call. Can't do the same thing every time.
Dec 14, 2015 11:45 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I agree with adambr2....as much as you want to think Lacy or Kuehn will pick that 1 yard up, more times then not, they haven't. I just don't like any play up the gut like that in standard formation, especially that close to the endzone where all 11 defenders are almost on the LOS. Get creative, but don't run into a crowded middle of the line.
Dec 14, 2015 11:47 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Didn't they have some success a few years back, putting BJ in at FB and using him like the Bears used the Fridge?
Dec 14, 2015 11:59 AM - Carl: Scored on a TD right up the middle late. No matter the play, have to execute.
Dec 14, 2015 12:02 PM - Pokerbrat2000: That TD up the middle wasn't scored on 4th and goal from the 1/2 yard line where the defense is bunched up protecting the middle

Dec 14, 2015 at 12:04 PM - adambr2: I still think going for it was definitely the right call. Even if you fail, huge field position advantage, tough for Dallas to move the ball backed up that deep, so a good chance we can get it back in good position and still get 7, which is exactly what happened.
Dec 14, 2015 at 12:05 PM - adambr2: I'll go for a 4th and less than a yard to goal every time, other than late game situations where 3 points is crucial.
Dec 14, 2015 at 12:06 PM - Pokerbrat2000: this might provide entertaining and informative reading....http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/62665328
Dec 14, 2015 at 12:07 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I didn't have a problem with going for it, but I think Rodgers needs 2 plays when he gets to the LOS......and if he see's the inside is defensively stacked up, which it was, he goes to second option, or calls a TO
Dec 14, 2015 at 12:09 PM - Pokerbrat2000: didn't count all the Dallas bodies in the middle of the pile, but was way more then the 3 we had blocking.
Dec 14, 2015 at 12:20 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: maybe we shoulda let Kuhn take it on that play
Dec 14, 2015 at 1:42 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Yawn...Giants at Miami tonight.....I see no reason to watch this game.....hope there are some reruns of The Golden Girls on
Dec 14, 2015 at 1:50 PM - SeahawkFan80: Think I shall rewatch the Seahawks game. I dvd recorded it and want to look at it from a different concept.
Dec 14, 2015 at 1:57 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I still have the NFCC game on DVR from last year, maybe I will watch the first 55 minutes of that game.
Dec 14, 2015 at 3:31 PM - Vltrophy: 4 year $42 $12M signing bonus & $22M in 15 months. New contract for Mike Daniels
Dec 14, 2015 at 3:33 PM - Vltrophy: I was at the Packers v Cowboys game. Totally loved it. Great seats sec 123 row 29 seat 1. Awesome seat
Dec 14, 2015 at 3:52 PM - Twiddlemylobes: The goal line play within a yard should be a gimme. I would've handed it to Raji tho
Dec 14, 2015 at 4:45 PM - Green and Gold: He is going to be the anchor of this defense for the foreseeable future.
Dec 14, 2015 at 4:51 PM - gatorpack: I think the #2 seed is creeping back into the picture for the Packers. Pack win out and Cards lose to Hawks week 17.
Dec 14, 2015 at 4:56 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: the game between AZ and Philly this next week will be big
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:04 PM - Poppa San: If Hawks beat Cards week 17 to tie up. Who wins the division?
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:12 PM - mkonyn: Cards
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:13 PM - mkonyn: Good for Mike. He deserves that money, I hope we get to see him blow up over the next few years.
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:16 PM - mkonyn: I think I read he is the 3rd highest paid DE
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:26 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: next to Jared Allen I'd guess
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:52 PM - Dagger85: Everyone rooting for Miami tonight?
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:53 PM - adambr2: Ah don't really care
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:57 PM - Dagger85: I don't like the Giants or Eli. Would love to see them lose
Dec 14, 2015 at 5:58 PM - Dagger85: That would be hard for them to come back from
Dec 14, 2015 at 6:44 PM - rodell330: How does Eli have two rings ? Smh if only we had a beast d line for Rodgers
Dec 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM - Raptorman: No, Dolphins. If the Giants win the Giant vikings game will be flexed to sunday night.

Dec 14, 2015 8:09 PM - longtimefan: lot of scoring
Dec 14, 2015 8:26 PM - Vltrophy: Mkonyn I read that also. 3rd highest 3-4 D player
Dec 14, 2015 8:27 PM - Vltrophy: U know Dez will be crying even more when he sees that OBJ "catch" ruled a catch
Dec 14, 2015 8:29 PM - Vltrophy: Bad penalty call on Miami. There was a lot of flopping on that call
Dec 14, 2015 8:35 PM - P-E-Z: Manning looks great tonight
Dec 14, 2015 9:01 PM - Raptorman: Looks like the Vikes/Giants game will be moved to Sunday night.
Dec 14, 2015 11:20 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: kinda odd as I thought probably their season finale against Philadelphia would be the Sunday night game, but I guess NBC wants Cowboys and Redskins on it? don't know
Dec 14, 2015 11:21 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: but yeah i can see why they'd drop the ravens-steelers
Dec 15, 2015 4:14 AM - desertdog55: I just love how these talking heads on some of the sports networks have said for years that A Rodgers is the best and most complete QB in the NFL, with Brady second....are now saying Cam Newton is the best followed by Brady....
Dec 15, 2015 5:42 AM - longtimefan: Well this year it makes sense...lets see jiw cam goes on for next 5 years
Dec 15, 2015 5:43 AM - Voltron: Talking heads are just the flavor of the day people. They change their opinions based on wind direction
Dec 15, 2015 6:05 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I remember when the pundits thought Jay Cutler was the second coming...oh wait....those were just Bear fans.
Dec 15, 2015 10:21 AM - Vltrophy: Harry Morgan dies at age 96. Condolences to his family and friends
Dec 15, 2015 10:30 AM - SeahawkFan80: Harry Morgan died a couple years ago.
Dec 15, 2015 10:31 AM - SeahawkFan80: Talking heads change their opinion on a flip of the coin...and they start flipping at 5 am and stop at midnight.
Dec 15, 2015 11:08 AM - Green and Gold: Good chance this will be the 7th year in a row that our last game will be between two potential playoff teams, the sixth year in a row that our final game has playoff implications, and the third year in a row that our final game is for the divisional title. Packers are 6-1 in their last game over that span.
Dec 15, 2015 12:41 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Well, 1 of two ways we clinch a playoff birth sunday, obviously it's win and in as 1st and my primary way to do it, or if both Tampa Bay and New York lose this weekend we are also in
Dec 15, 2015 2:03 PM - rodell330: Any word on Shields
Dec 15, 2015 2:09 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Concussion protocol......doubt we will hear much yet. I'm just glad/hope it wasn't his shoulder, the way it looked, I thought he may have hurt that more then his head.
Dec 15, 2015 2:44 PM - rodell330: I just re watched our SB against the Steelers. Man what a great time. That game still gives me chills. Loved that team.
Dec 15, 2015 3:14 PM - The program 61: who were our starting corners in SB tramon williams and woodson or was he safety by that time?
Dec 15, 2015 3:16 PM - rodell330: Collins and peprah
Dec 15, 2015 3:16 PM - The program 61: collins :(
Dec 15, 2015 3:16 PM - rodell330: Woodson and Williams mane
Dec 15, 2015 3:16 PM - rodell330: The corners
Dec 15, 2015 3:17 PM - The program 61: ty miss collins i dont wan t talk about our great offensive line from that game to.
Dec 15, 2015 3:19 PM - The program 61: any reason why we got rid of colledge? i thought he was great
Dec 15, 2015 3:44 PM - 7thFloorRA: he got paid a bunch of money by arizona. not sure he did much of anything for them
Dec 15, 2015 4:11 PM - adambr2: Colledge sucked. Ok not sucked but he was average at best and then got way overpaid to go to Arizona where he really sucked.
Dec 15, 2015 4:12 PM - weeds: colledge was a penalty machine, plus i think arizona paid this guy a kings ransom...adios tattoo boy
Dec 15, 2015 4:16 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: i almost forgot about Colledge
Dec 15, 2015 4:37 PM - SeahawkFan80: Darren Colledge out of Boise State I think. Just down the road a piece.
Dec 15, 2015 6:36 PM - rodell330: Colledge was on the same level as Bahk. Except he looked the part because he was tatted up.
Dec 15, 2015 6:41 PM - azrsx05: Agree with the Bahk comparison. Bahk needs to be replaced badly next year
Dec 15, 2015 7:57 PM - rodell330: Yes he does. No teams LT should EVER be the weak link on any line. I wonder if Bulaga will ever play to his 1st rd tag and solidify that spot. Guess if Bahk as bad as he is can beat him out I guess not.

Dec 15, 2015 9:45 PM - Packers907: How does everyone feel about our O-line vs Mack and company?
Dec 15, 2015 10:03 PM - longtimefan: andrew luck possibly out for season...lacerated kidney still not healed
Dec 15, 2015 10:41 PM - Green and Gold: Pack should be up for every game heading into the playoffs.
Dec 15, 2015 10:42 PM - Green and Gold: Win and IN get it done.
Dec 15, 2015 10:46 PM - Green and Gold: Kuuuhhhhnnnnn seems like he recognizes it will be his last year here based on some of his interviews and how he recognizes Ripkowski as the future of the position in GB. Would love to see him retire as a Packer.
Dec 16, 2015 5:30 AM - yooperpackfan: I love Kuuuuuuuuuhn but definitely want to see more of skiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
Dec 16, 2015 6:18 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I hope TT has this list with him at all times in the coming months.. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/left-tackle/
Dec 16, 2015 6:51 AM - PackerDNA: Bak is tapped out; he won't be getting any bigger, stronger or better. Bulaga has lost too much to injury over the years.
Dec 16, 2015 7:09 AM - PackerDNA: Wow, just over at cbssports.com; Bo Ryan retired.
Dec 16, 2015 7:30 AM - Pokerbrat2000: watched his announcement this morning.....seems he wanted out last Summer but wanted to give Greg Gard time to deal with his fathers cancer and death. Bo was classy to the end.
Dec 16, 2015 7:32 AM - Pokerbrat2000: http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/wis...sconsin-bo-ryan-retirement-greg-gard-audition
Dec 16, 2015 7:35 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Bo should go down as one of the greatest coaches in College Basketball, especially when you consider he was always behind the 8 ball in trying to land big name recruits http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/2015/7/1/8874389/bo-ryan-by-the-numbers-wisconsin-basketball
Dec 16, 2015 7:47 AM - SeahawkFan80: Brat...about the list for left tackle...santa claus is coming to town...isnt he? LOL
Dec 16, 2015 7:53 AM - Pokerbrat2000: We could only wish....but I see nothing but a bag full of coal and draft choices
Dec 16, 2015 8:40 AM - rodell330: Yea this years draft looks weak in general .
Dec 16, 2015 8:41 AM - rodell330: If TT cuts some of the dead weight we could get Joe Thomas from Cleveland . There are ways to improve a team other than his dang draft picks.
Dec 16, 2015 8:45 AM - Pokerbrat2000: agreed Rodell.....and personally I'm a bit tired of drafting Tackles and hoping.....grab a proven LT in FA
Dec 16, 2015 8:54 AM - PackerDNA: Don't know about Thomas; over 30, a lot of injuries over the years, high price tag.
Dec 16, 2015 9:39 AM - rodell330: Doesn't necessarily have to be him but geesh..can't have Bahk at LT anymore and like I said Bulaga obviously isn't the answer there either. That spot hasn't been good since Clifton retired. Having a set if good tackles was something you could always count on with the Packers but now? Not so much. It's time ro
Dec 16, 2015 9:40 AM - rodell330: It's time to* find a guy who mauls people and isn't some soft stuff with long hair.
Dec 16, 2015 9:52 AM - Carl: Thomas would cost an insane amount of money.
Dec 16, 2015 10:06 AM - thisisnate: we're not bringing in a high $ tackle. c'mon now lol
Dec 16, 2015 10:07 AM - rodell330: Yea late rounders are doing just fine haha
Dec 16, 2015 10:08 AM - thisisnate: completely irrelevant
Dec 16, 2015 10:13 AM - rodell330: Yea who needs goo tackles
Dec 16, 2015 10:13 AM - rodell330: Good*
Dec 16, 2015 10:14 AM - thisisnate: bakhtiari isn't even close to being bad enough that ted would bring in someone for 10 million a year
Dec 16, 2015 10:15 AM - thisisnate: he isn't very good, but he's not "panic and throw an enormous *** of cash at the best LT that is around" bad
Dec 16, 2015 10:16 AM - thisisnate: but we go through these discussions probably 15 times a year i think, so i'll go with "watch and see"
Dec 16, 2015 10:19 AM - rodell330: Again!! It doesn't have to be Joe Thomas!!!! Just someone who can stay healthy and actually be the long term answer at LT. If you think it's Bahk you're out of your mind.
Dec 16, 2015 10:21 AM - thisisnate: I didn't even say Joe Thomas, man. 10 mil is the going rate for a good LT. If you're not going to bring in that caliber of LT, there's just no point. Bakh is good enough to roll with until we develop another.
Dec 16, 2015 10:28 AM - sdh09e44: russell okung is an upcoming fa
Dec 16, 2015 10:28 AM - sdh09e44: wonder if seattle can pay him
Dec 16, 2015 10:29 AM - sdh09e44: so is jake long, hes obviously been a dissapointment but maybe the guy can get his **** together in green bay
Dec 16, 2015 10:30 AM - sdh09e44: also evan mathis from denver via eagles, could see a guy like that moving somewhere

Dec 16, 2015 at 10:31 AM - sdh09e44: hes only been there one season...
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:33 AM - sdh09e44: wisnewski the center from jacksonville is too. dont know if we gotta go after a center but hell be there
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:33 AM - sdh09e44: and thats about it for the o line FA wise unless im missing some under the radar guy
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:36 AM - sdh09e44: in my opinion, we should go after antonio gates, he will not be seeking something big and obviously nothing long term, and hes obviously still an effective TE and would help us for 1-2 years. superbowl hungry too i bet,
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:40 AM - sdh09e44: unfortuntely there are no big time FA wrs this season, not like those guys ever really hit FA anyway, so either we draft a guy in the second round or trade for desean jackson........i know it would never happen in a million years but him and rodgers are both cal guys and that could help him stay cool..which he has been for the most part in washington....desean being a locker room cancer is such
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:40 AM - sdh09e44: an exaggeration......another super bowl hungry guy too.....
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:41 AM - sdh09e44: and i bet washington would indeed part ways with him for a pick or two....
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:44 AM - thisisnate: we'll have jordy back next year :D i would not be surprised if we drafted a wr in round 2 or 3 again though. i flipping love mike williams out of clemson, and due to the freak injury he had last year, he could be available in the 2nd
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:46 AM - sdh09e44: yea hes nasty
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:47 AM - sdh09e44: yea jordy back will be huge, but i really hope thats not the full mentality that they have
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:47 AM - sdh09e44: just thinking jordy back is the answer to everything
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:47 AM - sdh09e44: it sure as **** may be
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:48 AM - grampi: GB has far more problems than just Nelson being out
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:48 AM - sdh09e44: but risking that would be stupid, cause they were dead wrong about everything being fine and manageable this year without him
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:49 AM - sdh09e44: they never thought it would be this bad without jordy, defintely didnt think theyd have duds at home against two of the worst teams in the NFC
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:50 AM - thisisnate: you can't fix every point of any weakness in one draft. we'll have healthy jordy and healthy ty mont in addition to what we have now. it's going to be a low priority.
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:51 AM - thisisnate: that being said, again, i will not be surprised to see a 2nd or 3rd used on a receiver. there's just so much receiving talent this year, just none that is really top end.
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:52 AM - grampi: could you imagine a rcvr like Antonio Brown or Odell Beckum to compliment Jordy?
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:53 AM - grampi: The Pack offense would be unstoppable!
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:53 AM - thisisnate: well... obviously having one of the top 2 receivers in the league is going to be a huge help rofl. they don't grow on trees though.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:02 AM - SeahawkFan80: LT...someone mentioned Okung. We think in our board that he is about worth somewhere in the area of 5 to 7 million. Not sure what the team will think about it but that is our thought. He has been in a money year and his option was not taken for after this year. Just my OPINION.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:12 AM - sdh09e44: of course it isnt going to be a high prioirty. TT and most fans are just going to think plugging jordy back in is going to fix everything. and it may be, but risking it would be stupid
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:13 AM - ExpatPacker: Adding either a better WR or a top TE prospect would be welcome, it doesn't need to be a WR
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:15 AM - sdh09e44: just sign antonio gates
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:16 AM - sdh09e44: seems like we need more reliable guys on third down...and clearly a red zone target with under a minute left.....lost 3 games because of that..
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:20 AM - Carl: Don't forget about Ty and the possible development of Janie and Abby.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:21 AM - Carl: Packers are draft and develop. They aren't going to spend a lot at WR if they think any of those 3 could do really well.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:22 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Personally, I hope James Jones is in the conversation. Because until Adams, Montgomery or Abby prove themselves fully, he would be the best option (of current) behind Jordy and Cobb
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:43 AM - sdh09e44: itd be the smartest thing to keep jones around
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:44 AM - sdh09e44: not only can he be effective as a 3rd or 4th option instead of virtually a #1 which is he now, what if someone gets hurt again?
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:44 AM - sdh09e44: itd be easier just to plug in a guy who is already with the team instead of some guy who had training camp 1000 miles away
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:46 AM - Pokerbrat2000: can't imagine Jones wanting to test the waters with another team for the 3rd time, so he won't cost a lot
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:47 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Unless things change drastically this year with WR's, Jordy is going to have the weight of the world on his shoulders to solidify the passing game again.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:49 AM - PackerDNA: There's no guarantee Nelson makes it all the way back. Cobb is a big play guy but needs to be put in certain situations to make them. Jones is pretty much done. Two years in and Janis and Abby can't get on the field. The WR position needs upgrading.
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:51 AM - sdh09e44: yea jones would be cheap to keep

Dec 16, 2015 at 11:52 AM - sdh09e44: only time will tell. one thing we do know for a fact is that jordy is a big deep threat and that 100% helped cobb with his slot job
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:54 AM - sdh09e44: but jordy is going to be what? 30..31? still can be effective and his knee rehab will be done by may/june so he isnt getting rushed back......................but this is a reality check......
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:55 AM - sdh09e44: injuries happen to every team and can easily derail a super bowl run.....but not effectively replacing injured or older players/building for the future can derail it too
Dec 16, 2015 at 11:56 AM - sdh09e44: TT might have to change his style and take a risk to land someone big sooner rather than later
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:00 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Imagine where this team would be right now, had TT not signed JJ after Jordy's injury? Cobb was the only WR with any significant NFL experience. Our depth at WR at the start of camp was just bodies and hopes.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:00 PM - PackerDNA: There will be an extra tool for getting players this year. Comp picks can be traded.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:01 PM - Pokerbrat2000: TT barely uses FA, has he ever traded for a player?......racking my brain.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:02 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I can't think of any player TT has traded for. He has traded picks, for other picks.....but not for a player from memory.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:02 PM - sdh09e44: yea itd be pretty bad right now pokerbrat
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:03 PM - sdh09e44: thats why i keep saying gates. i feel like he fits TTs way of doing things. sign a proven vet who wants to win
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:04 PM - Green and Gold: Lucky to have a guy who plays his heart out for a city and for a ring. In Dallas guys like Dez are holding out for more money. Cobb's character shines through perhaps more than his electrifying play does.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:04 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Hindsight is 20/20 and nobody thought Adams would suck, but TT should have pulled the trigger on another WR after Jordy went down (including Jones)
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:05 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I think Jennings failures with another team had some influence on Cobb staying in GB with AR as well
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:07 PM - sdh09e44: and who even knows about adams yet either
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:07 PM - sdh09e44: he was decent as a rookie because he was the 3rd wr....now this season his role increased 10 fold
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:07 PM - sdh09e44: thats tough as hell for a 2nd year player
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:08 PM - sdh09e44: that isnt expected to be beckham jr landry or someone like that
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:09 PM - PackerDNA: Traded for Grant from the Giants.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:18 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Thanks DNA.....I knew TT couldn't have gone this long without a player trade. He traded a 6th for Grant, good deal. Packers tried to send one of their kickers, Mason Crosby or Dave Rayner, to the Giants in lieu of the draft pick...yikes glad it wasn't Crosby
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:24 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Giants 6th round pick the following year never played in a regular season game ....great trade lol
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:26 PM - sdh09e44: solid trade
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:26 PM - sdh09e44: but i think we are talking about a headline deal, one that would bring in somebody elite in their prime,
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:26 PM - sdh09e44: it has happened all around the league...
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:29 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I doubt that is going to happen on TT's watch......but who knows. I remember when he signed Peppers, I didn't believe it.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:29 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Just look at all those big name, big money FAs that have been complete failures with their new teams
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:34 PM - PackerDNA: Look at all the one's who weren't. Whether he likes it or not, TT is going to have to be more active in free agency.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:41 PM - thisisnate: going to have to be more active or else what?
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:46 PM - PackerDNA: Or else this team will continue to slip while others improve and pass them by. You won't be fixing all of this teams needs with just the draft.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:53 PM - thisisnate: it's really hard to win a superbowl, so that's hardly a stretch to "predict." a well-managed team puts their players in a position to make the playoffs and make a run at it, which we do every single year.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:56 PM - PackerDNA: The best teams aren't afraid to do the extra things that give them the best chance to actually win titles; better chances than this one has. I'm getting tired of just being 'in the mix' every year, and finding out at the end of the season that we weren't really even that.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:58 PM - thisisnate: who are these "best" teams you refer to? we've been as successful as anyone but the patriots really, and even their sb wins have been spread out.
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:59 PM - sdh09e44: i think its half the packers need to bring in someone big to strengthen an area of weakness...........but its also half keeping up with what some other teams are doing
Dec 16, 2015 at 12:59 PM - sdh09e44: what if carolina makes a big splash after this season? as well as getting kelvin benjamin back
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM - thisisnate: dunno what you mean by "what if."
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM - sdh09e44: ?

Dec 16, 2015 at 1:01 PM - sdh09e44: if the number one overall seed in the NFC gets stronger for next season.....
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:01 PM - thisisnate: i don't understand your question lol they're good and may get better. nothing crazy there
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:01 PM - sdh09e44: while we stay the same
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:02 PM - thisisnate: i swear i've read this same conversation 20 times in shout already the last few years
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:02 PM - sdh09e44: yea....and if that happens while the packers dont do anything,,,,THAT WOULD SUCK
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:02 PM - thisisnate: teams go up, teams go down. carolina hasn't actually won anything yet.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: ^
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:04 PM - PackerDNA: Right, sdh. The Seahawks hve been more successful; we've been passed up by the Cards and Panthers, and our own division will no longer be a cake walk. I don't consider comparing our team to teams that don't win anything to be a standard of success.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:04 PM - sdh09e44: yea ok
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:05 PM - sdh09e44: i was using carolina as an example to the bigger picture
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:05 PM - thisisnate: even the seahawks... they've been really strong for what 2 years? won 1 superbowl. it's not like they've left us in the dust. you'd think by the way people post that there are some magical teams doing things we're not and becoming so much better than us, which is not true.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:06 PM - Pokerbrat2000: All teams on paper are suppose to improve each year, but when you add up the wins and loses the average is always .500 As much as I wish TT would plug a hole with a FA, he is pretty darn good at keeping the Packers above that .500 mark every year and competitive.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:06 PM - sdh09e44: keep in mind im not asking for.....
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:06 PM - thisisnate: exactly. every year we have a good shot based on the way things are curently run. that doesn't mean we should be lazy and not explore FA, but there's no need to think we need to make huge FA splashes every year.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:07 PM - sdh09e44: revis for 15 mil per season that was rumored
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:07 PM - sdh09e44: but you guys dont think signing julius thomas this offseason wouldnt of been a good idea ?
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:07 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Peppers is a great example of this.. using FA to fill a hole when you don't have the time to draft the need through standard protocols.. draft n developing a Mike Daniels player over 3-4 years
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:08 PM - thisisnate: for 10 million dollars, not a chance, sdh.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:08 PM - sdh09e44: or maybe keeping williams or house, and not having to draft two corners in a row
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:09 PM - thisisnate: house was trash for one thing. i did like tramon, but he was getting old, so ya know... sometimes you just gotta let a guy go. i did like him though.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:09 PM - thisisnate: it's easy to sit at our computers and watch on tv, but ultimately, we don't know squat about how to run a team lol
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:09 PM - sdh09e44: lol i know
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:09 PM - PackerDNA: Bingo, Nate; your post before your last one shows you get it, and really, we're all on the same page here.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:09 PM - thisisnate: maybe if this were MLB and we had a billionaire owner...
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:10 PM - rodell330: TT is living in lala land
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:10 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I could run this team
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:10 PM - thisisnate: uh boy...
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:10 PM - Twiddlemylobes: NOT!
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:11 PM - sdh09e44: but if they signed julius thomas, who got 9.2 from jaguars........im gonna spin zone this into saying he wouldve taken less to play with the packers...lets say 8 mill
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:11 PM - PackerDNA: Reincarnate Steinbrenner!!!! Good times, heh.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:11 PM - sdh09e44: that still wouldve left 7 mil in cap space...........
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:12 PM - sdh09e44: not much less if he signed the same deal he did in jax
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:14 PM - thisisnate: i won't pretend to be a cap expert... but yeah, that would leave money on the table yet for *this* year. he's too young to consider as a 1 year rental player though, so you have to consider how that plays into future plans and extending our own guys.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:14 PM - thisisnate: honestly though, i'm totally fine with cutting peppers loose and his salary (don't hate!) which is a nice chunk of change to spend elsewhere
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:15 PM - thisisnate: i only say cut him loose because i don't think he'd take a pay cut, but i don't really know if that's true

Dec 16, 2015 at 1:15 PM - thisisnate: and i mean after the season, obviously, not now
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:16 PM - thisisnate: also consider that after daniels' extension, we only have like 7 mil in cap space
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:17 PM - thisisnate: that wouldn't have happened with thomas' contract on the book
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:17 PM - PackerDNA: I love Peppers, but I agree Nate; big bucks for a guy who's getting real close to hitting the wall.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:17 PM - sdh09e44: exactly...peppers money could come off the books next season and that wouldve been the thomas money
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:18 PM - thisisnate: and that's a very ***-for-tat way to look at it. i don't know what kind of money our own guys are going to cost to keep, so i honestly can't say much about how it would have impacted things.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:18 PM - thisisnate: p.s. i wonder if peppers has any interest in coaching.... :D
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:18 PM - PackerDNA: Hasn't Thomas missed a lot of time with injury this year?
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:18 PM - thisisnate: d-line cheerleader maybe
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:18 PM - sdh09e44: so lets say the peppers cap relief would take care of the thomas money....so back to 15 in space......boom daniels money right there
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:19 PM - thisisnate: withhhh 18 free agents and rookie deals to sign
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:19 PM - sdh09e44: and people always say...."we need to save space in case there are injuires in the preseason or midseason"....................
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:20 PM - thisisnate: point being, we don't know who they want to stay most or what kind of contracts they'll demand. it's overly simplistic to say "take peppers off the books and sign thomas" etc
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:20 PM - sdh09e44: well this season was the exact time to use some of that space.....and nothing happened so
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:20 PM - thisisnate: i don't really know, tbh, why we seem to always keep cap space
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:21 PM - sdh09e44: i mean...obviously we dont know what exactly would happen, like you said we arent cap experts etc
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:21 PM - PackerDNA: How many of our pending FA's are worth resigning? First step to clearing up cap room to get better players is getting rid of dead weight- FA's and still under contract.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:21 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Antonio Gates could be a good short term solution for a few years, he's a midwest guy and he might take a slight salary cut to get back closer to home and with a team that can get him a ring
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:22 PM - thisisnate: he's also 35. i dunno if he's still good though. never watch him.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:22 PM - Twiddlemylobes: he averages like 8 TD a year.. every year
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:22 PM - thisisnate: crosby? 3 mil. i don't care if we keep him or not.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:22 PM - sdh09e44: lmao
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:22 PM - sdh09e44: i said gates like 60 times today
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - thisisnate: casey heyward is probably going to ask 5-6 mil, don't care if we keep him or not
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - PackerDNA: Saw Gates few times this season. He's slipped noticecably.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - sdh09e44: i think hayward is gone
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - thisisnate: sean richardson, probably done here
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - thisisnate: tolzien, cya
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:23 PM - thisisnate: kuhn sorry to say, cya
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:24 PM - thisisnate: raji keep i hope. depends if he tries to weasel his way into DE money again instead of NT money
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:24 PM - thisisnate: perry and neal i have no idea
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:25 PM - thisisnate: barclay, don't care
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:25 PM - thisisnate: quarless, raji, starks are the only FA i actually care about i think
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:26 PM - PackerDNA: You can say goodbye to all the guys mentioned above and not miss a beat.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:26 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Our FA class is lowly.. lol

Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - thisisnate: ya know, it kinda is twiddle haha
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - thisisnate: i didn't really look at it much until now
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - thisisnate: 2017 though. oof. that's a big year for us.
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - sdh09e44: gotta keep starks i think
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Starks, Crosby and Raji are the only concerns i would really have
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:28 PM - sdh09e44: unless they want to draft a speed back,,,booker from utah perhaps
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:29 PM - sdh09e44: guion?? im not sure
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:29 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Guion lost his luster last offseason
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:30 PM - PackerDNA: Guion...buh bye
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:30 PM - Twiddlemylobes: along with 190,000
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:30 PM - Twiddlemylobes: and a bag of weed
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:31 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Guibye
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:32 PM - thisisnate: lol yeah. we don't have many big bodies on D though. will have boyd back i guess. he's probably about interchangeable with guion
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:49 PM - rodell330: There's no guarantee Raji will be back either so...
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:50 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Possibly bring back Guion for less than Raji and switch him back to NT
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:51 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Did some crazy math and if the Giants upset the Panthers this Sunday in the meadowlands, we could actually get them in Lambeau in the 1st round
Dec 16, 2015 at 1:54 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I think with some experience Mike Pennel could be a substantial force in the middle
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:14 PM - rodell330: Carolina will be the #1 seed that's not gonna change. They don't even look that good on paper but that's why you play the game.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:15 PM - PackerDNA: Pennel is intriguing.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:16 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Carolina is a very well balanced team, nothing overly flashy but no glaring holes either. IMO legit and going to be tough to beat by anyone in the playoffs.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:18 PM - Pokerbrat2000: They also have been relatively injury free (before Atlanta game) all year
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:19 PM - Dagger85: There has been several times Cam has been slow to get up. Wonder if he is hurting
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:20 PM - PackerDNA: The Panthers are physical, can run the ball, have a very good ball hawking defense with at least 3 elite caliber players on it, a TE who opens things up and make plays, a QB who makes plays with his arm and legs, and are a very smart and disciplined team. I don't get all the they're not so good talk.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:21 PM - Pokerbrat2000: agreed DNA
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:21 PM - Pokerbrat2000: People are saying that I believe.....in a "hopeful way"
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:23 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Hard to ever say a team that is 13-0 and finished last year with 4 straight regular season wins isn't good.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:26 PM - rodell330: True poker. Why can't we play like that haha
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:26 PM - PackerDNA: I see it in the media, too, Poker. They could probably go 19-0 and still have doubters and detractors.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:28 PM - rodell330: I hope not
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:29 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I love Clay, but Luke Kuechly is something special
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:31 PM - PackerDNA: Kuechly is outstanding, but mentally and instinctively, he's on another level.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:31 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Carolina is also #1 in the NFL in relation to turnovers with a +18 this can win you some games for sure
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:32 PM - Pokerbrat2000: #2 team is K.C. with 12 and Packers are #4 with 7
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:35 PM - Pokerbrat2000: We may lead the league in giving the ball up the fewest times, but we are #22 in take aways....really wish our defense went after the ball more. Some defenses seem to be well coached at stripping the ball while also tackling.
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:37 PM - Pokerbrat2000: we are #29 in fumble recoveries this year with 4, Denver has 12!

Dec 16, 2015 at 2:41 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Our team was #2 in net turnovers in 2010. This is a very telling statistic
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:43 PM - Twiddlemylobes: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categoryst...63-o=2&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=TURNOVER_RATIO
Dec 16, 2015 at 2:45 PM - Twiddlemylobes: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/givetake
Dec 16, 2015 at 3:03 PM - Twiddlemylobes: last year we were #1 in net Turnover ratio. Followed by 2.New England (+12) then 3.Seattle (+10)
Dec 16, 2015 at 3:09 PM - rodell330: Wow 2 and 3 played for the Lombardi ....
Dec 16, 2015 at 3:10 PM - rodell330: We need woodson back! He was a turnover machine.
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:08 PM - sdh09e44: nah woodson is old and washed up we dont need him anymore
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:08 PM - sdh09e44: and hes too much money....you know we have other great things to do with cap space
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:08 PM - sdh09e44: OH WAIT
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:09 PM - sdh09e44: we probably go to the super bowl last season if charles woodson is a packer
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:10 PM - sdh09e44: and the cap space they saved on him went to nothing..just back into the team and kept a bunch of other guys...which didnt work
Dec 16, 2015 at 4:35 PM - JK64: Woodson was struggling staying with receivers. Wasn't worth the money.
Dec 16, 2015 at 6:59 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Woodson is almost done, and i don't know where this narrative about the Raiders D being any good is coming from
Dec 16, 2015 at 6:59 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: ignorant fans no doubt
Dec 16, 2015 at 7:08 PM - Carl: Coming from the guy who thinks the Redskins have the league's most talented roster....
Dec 16, 2015 at 7:32 PM - SeahawkFan80: The Redskins have a roster??? Do they know where it is??
Dec 16, 2015 at 7:35 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I see games, I know what I'm talking about

Dec 16, 2015 at 8:02 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Lol. Is this a joke. Tell me this is a joke.
Dec 16, 2015 at 8:22 PM - Carl: Not a joke.
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:06 PM - longtimefan: Think he also said cousins was bad and skins should sign matt Flynn
Dec 16, 2015 at 10:11 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Everybody looks good after RG3. Lol.
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:01 AM - Green and Gold: This weekend is really a big test if GB is good enough to make a deep run into the playoffs.
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:10 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: look i may have hyperbolized that "most talented roster" thing for them, but don't go tellin me the talent isn't there on Washington's team to have more wins than they do, you got Jackson, Garcon, Crowder, Grant, Jordan Reed, Matt Jones, Alfred Morris, Chris Thompson, that is a ton of freakish speed and a hell of a lot more playmakers on that O than most other NFC teams
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:12 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: Cousins isn't a great QB but he's done better than Matt Ryan this year who in his prime almost got his team to the superbowl, he may not have Stafford's arm but he has better decision-making abilities than him
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:15 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: point is you ask just about any redskins fan and they will tell you Jay Gruden is the biggest underachiever coach in football and trust me, there are plenty of them calling for his head right now
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:17 AM - Green and Gold: A huge thing this team is missing is confidence right now, if they can win two of the next three, they should have a real shot in the playoffs.
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:23 AM - SeahawkFan80: Cousins is not a bad quarterback. Is he upper deck? not yet... but has potential. Pierre Garcon is upper middle. The other ones I am not aware of as I have not watched too much of them. Possibly the biggest hold back for the team is their playing field.
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:32 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: thats the point though, the talent is there on Washington, reason i call Jay Gruden a bad coach is he looks almost picture perfect like Jim Schwartz, Schwartz had in 2013, Lions had the NFC North under wraps against ours and the bears crippled teams and he blew it, Gruden's doing the same thing
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:37 AM - SeahawkFan80: I agree the Lions were a match for everyone. I dont know if it is Gruden or if it is his coordinators that dont see and adjust to the scheme. I would have to watch more games.
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:42 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: his problem is his team is lackin in discipline and he isn't fixing it
Dec 17, 2015 at 8:45 AM - SeahawkFan80: That explains a lot. The team mates are not buying into the program.
Dec 17, 2015 at 9:00 AM - sdh09e44: agreed green and gold
Dec 17, 2015 at 9:00 AM - sdh09e44: confidence would be through the roof if we can win out
Dec 17, 2015 at 9:01 AM - sdh09e44: similar to what seattle did last season.....got hot to close it out and stole the 1 seed
Dec 17, 2015 at 9:46 AM - longtimefan: Now you wnt cousins and not matt flynn?
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:26 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: well obviously matt flynn isn't gettin signed so why push that one on?
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:30 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: obviously since the jets game when i brought that up, Alfred Morris knocked some sense into his head and made him stop throwin bad balls
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:38 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: but anyway, why believe any of this since it's obvious to everyone that MM taking back the playcalling had nothing to do with a better game last week?
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:53 AM - longtimefan: i asnt doing any of that? I saw a post in chat about you and the redskins , and I posted what I recall you saying...So while your attempting to redirect--- i was only going with the flow of the chat topic that I saw..
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:55 AM - longtimefan: im still not sold it was all play calling...They were only up 14-7 with about 8 mins to go.....it wasnt like it was non stop scoring..
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:55 AM - longtimefan: only thing at this point I am sure of is the team played better, line blocked, wr didnt drop, and Rodgers had good throws
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:56 AM - longtimefan: those three things to me arent a result in play calling, but execution.....The only thing MM may have done different at this point was stay with the running game when it worked
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:58 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: fair enough i was explaining why it was i don't think they need Matt Flynn at this point, whether or not both Flynn or Cousins have the same or one better talent ... it's hard to say, but i had thought flynn's decision-making was always better
Dec 17, 2015 at 11:59 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: but Cousins got it knocked into him that he couldn't go forcing balls, and apparently it's worked for him
Dec 17, 2015 at 12:03 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: idk, for me that's the two aspects of QBing, arm and accuracy one, but if you have that but bad decision-making it will nullify that skill
Dec 17, 2015 at 1:21 PM - Vltrophy: Packers favored by 3 this week. Packers definitely cover the spread
Dec 17, 2015 at 1:49 PM - brandon2348: oh yeah
Dec 17, 2015 at 3:03 PM - Jdeed: wow good luck with your government....
Dec 17, 2015 at 3:10 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Nfl Network just had someone playin background music over the main sound system
Dec 17, 2015 at 3:10 PM - desertdog55: Matt Flynn?....he couldn't hit sand if he threw a ball in the desert....smh....had one decent game got paid and rode it for all it was worth....lol
Dec 17, 2015 at 3:58 PM - milani: I will say this about Flynn. In 2013 when he came back to us following Rodgers' injury he saved our season. Tolzien loked like a high schooler. He led us back to tie the Vikes, beat Atlanta, and earned the largest point comeback in Packer history vs. Dallas. If that does not happen Rodgers week 17 heroics against the Bears is meaningless. We owe that to his credit.
Dec 17, 2015 at 4:11 PM - SeahawkFan80: We paid Flynn so we could get a short game manager.....in the draft... :p

Dec 17, 2015 at 4:26 PM - SeahawkFan80: And we got some football weather.....visibility approx 200 yds...2 inches of snow on the ground with estimated 8 in the next 2 days. Bogus Basin probably get about 8-15 inches.
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:24 PM - Dagger85: Have they flexed next week's games yet? Wonder if cards lose and we win this week if we would get Primetime since its for #2 seed
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:28 PM - SeahawkFan80: I think that Fox has the Ari Seattle game controlled. You all may end up in the evening game on week 17.
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:30 PM - SeahawkFan80: Oh and if they were flexing a game, it would have to have been last week that they announced it for next weekend. The only game that can be flexed within one week is the 17 week game.
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:32 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: man these unis look like Pacman computer game players
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:33 PM - SeahawkFan80: The NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC) and announce as early as possible the game being played at 8:15 p.m. ET. The announcement will come no later than 12 days prior to the game. The NFL may also announce games moving to 4:05 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET. Week 17 start time changes could be decided on 6 days notice to ensure a game with playoff implications.
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:33 PM - Dagger85: Cool thanks SHF
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:34 PM - Dagger85: Yeah Carolina, they look like Christmas onesies
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:36 PM - SeahawkFan80: Not a problem Dagger. I am seriously hoping i am right on the fact that my team does not get flexed. That was kinda harsh last time. Never know with the nfl. They do control the refs???dont they??
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:36 PM - Dagger85: You're going week 17 right?
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:37 PM - SeahawkFan80: EWWWWWWWW
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:37 PM - SeahawkFan80: yes sir
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:37 PM - Dagger85: What did I miss??
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:37 PM - Dagger85: (About the ewww)
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:38 PM - SeahawkFan80: My eyes....I can not watch those sets of uniforms...ugh...My eyes.
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:38 PM - Dagger85: Lol
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:44 PM - Dagger85: Always wondered who would win between ketchup and mustard
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:45 PM - SeahawkFan80: Yes...the condiment bowl
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:49 PM - SeahawkFan80: Go mustard
Dec 17, 2015 at 5:52 PM - SeahawkFan80: We have a mustard fan that decided to go to the new star wars flick instead of watching the condiment bowl.

Dec 17, 2015 8:16 PM - longtimefan: this is horribly wrong...Who signed off on those unis
Dec 17, 2015 8:37 PM - Pokerbrat2000: glad I have a switch on my TV to go to B&W :D
Dec 17, 2015 8:47 PM - adambr2: The kicker could have just rolled the ball 10 yards and it would have been just as effective of an onside kick
Dec 18, 2015 6:52 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: yeah they aren't but all in all, their year still exceeded expectations probably
Dec 18, 2015 6:54 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: that's one team down tho, and if ny loses sunday, packers automatically clinch, although if minny wins, so do they
Dec 18, 2015 7:15 AM - SeahawkFan80: I am with you on this Carolina.
Dec 18, 2015 7:49 AM - Dagger85: So glad bowl games start tomorrow and NFL has a game. Last Saturday felt empty lol
Dec 18, 2015 8:06 AM - SeahawkFan80: The Army Navy game was good but like you, I felt it too..empty.

Dec 18, 2015 10:13 AM - Vltrophy: Shields out for Sunday's game
Dec 18, 2015 11:17 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: good thing that shows the Packers can never take on Trumps personality, but I loved the Jets new logo though haha
Dec 18, 2015 11:21 AM - sdh09e44: i dont remember the actual stat, it was on espn and it was one of those 4 rows with 2 columns comparing weeks 1-13 and week 14
Dec 18, 2015 11:21 AM - sdh09e44: but it clearly showed that the offense had better numbers with MM calling the plays
Dec 18, 2015 11:22 AM - sdh09e44: one of them was the amount of play action plays called and better average yards per play and it was significantly better with MM
Dec 18, 2015 11:23 AM - Green and Gold: Time for Randall to shine.
Dec 18, 2015 11:25 AM - Green and Gold: We are pretty healthy this year all in all. Look at the Chargers and Ravens and be thankful. **** happens.
Dec 18, 2015 12:35 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Sunday can't get here soon enough
Dec 18, 2015 12:59 PM - milani: Ty Monygomery had a setback today and now Adams messed up his foot at practice. Never thought I'd see a year when wide receiver becomes our Achiiles heel.
Dec 18, 2015 1:11 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I wonder at what point Packers give up on Montgomery for the season and IR him to bring in a healthy body. With Adams now hobbling, 4 WR's isn't enough.
Dec 18, 2015 1:46 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: really sucks we couldn't have given Reggie Wayne a go
Dec 18, 2015 1:48 PM - Pokerbrat2000: still could or Santana Moss, but doubt either have much tread left on their tires
Dec 18, 2015 1:50 PM - sdh09e44: shouldve traded for desean jackson
Dec 18, 2015 1:50 PM - sdh09e44: stupid
Dec 18, 2015 1:50 PM - Pokerbrat2000: but if Montgomery isn't going to be playing anytime soon....someone has to be brought in. Cobb or Jones go down and people thought our passing attack was bad now?
Dec 18, 2015 1:52 PM - Pokerbrat2000: when you only have 2 out of the 6 WR's starting the season with much experience, you are asking for trouble
Dec 18, 2015 1:57 PM - Poppa San: If they IR Montgomery, it'll be to activate Quarles
Dec 18, 2015 1:58 PM - Pokerbrat2000: think they will finish the season with only 5 WR's Adams hurting and two of those Abby and Janis.
Dec 18, 2015 2:00 PM - Pokerbrat2000: I would assume they will PS Kennard Backman to bring back Quarles......can't see them keeping 4 TE's on roster
Dec 18, 2015 2:15 PM - easyk83: Article on JS about the recent success of the Packer offense with the screen pass and focusing on the run game
Dec 18, 2015 2:16 PM - easyk83: who put up that post about how the average Packer fan knows only 3 plays 1) screen pass, 2) run the damn ball and 3) that Brett Favre slant

Dec 18, 2015 at 2:20 PM - mcoomer146: As much as I love Charles Woodson and all the things he helped with as a Packer...He is the enemy on Sunday!...Go Pack Go!!
Dec 18, 2015 at 2:29 PM - King of Jeans: I only know 2 plays
Dec 18, 2015 at 2:29 PM - King of Jeans: Green 19 and Blue 58
Dec 18, 2015 at 2:30 PM - King of Jeans: oh yea and 27 Tampa
Dec 18, 2015 at 2:30 PM - King of Jeans: New York Bozo
Dec 18, 2015 at 3:09 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Super Bowl Shuffle.....oh wait....that was Da Bears
Dec 18, 2015 at 3:25 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I'll bet as much as Charles wants to get an INT.. Aaron wants to shred Charles for a TD
Dec 18, 2015 at 3:27 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I won't be surprised to Woodson on the Safety blitz some. I'd be watching him closely anytime he lines up within 5 yards of either Tackle
Dec 18, 2015 at 5:11 PM - rodell330: The real reason why we are so thin at wr and won't go far with this passing attack is Ted Thompson. He's stuck in his ways. There were options available at the deadline . It's ok to rent a player to win a SB.
Dec 18, 2015 at 5:14 PM - rodell330: I'm willing to bet Rodgers throws for less than 200 Yds Sunday. If the Raiders have any sense they'll stack the box and play man on the outside and come after Rodgers.
Dec 18, 2015 at 5:15 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: don't see anyone on their team being able to stick Cobb
Dec 18, 2015 at 5:52 PM - longtimefan: New york bozo
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:01 PM - Twiddlemylobes: I feel like broken record but the tailbacks need to be involved in the short passing game out of the gate. Oakland isn't going to sit back and rest on their laurels while AR picks them apart.
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:03 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Confucius say : 5 men rush many times. Counter this with much preparation. Persistence in running game prevail. Bowing respectfully out of dojo
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:03 PM - sdh09e44: the tailbacks couldnt be more involved in the short passing ahme Twiddle
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:04 PM - sdh09e44: so many screens to starks...we literally do that twice a series...
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:06 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Then the next appropriate question.. Does it work?
Dec 18, 2015 at 6:07 PM - Twiddlemylobes: We need to have a Dr. Phil game plan this week. "people do what works"

Dec 18, 2015 8:19 PM - adambr2: What WR was available at the deadline as a rental that's going to win us a SB?
Dec 18, 2015 9:09 PM - adambr2: Watching Bucks/Warriors tonight I'm reminded why I rarely watch the NBA anymore. The officiating makes NFL referees look fantastic
Dec 18, 2015 9:10 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: apart from seeing TNT always promote that **** and the ESPN talking heads going off about it, I almost forget it exists haha
Dec 19, 2015 5:25 AM - SeahawkFan80: Ahh....NBA....the ME league. Noone But Aye league.
Dec 19, 2015 6:05 AM - longtimefan: Bucks had them on the ropes again..were up by 15 in 2nd half..couldnt hold on
Dec 19, 2015 7:27 AM - Dagger85: Go Pack tomorrow.....and Eagles
Dec 19, 2015 7:27 AM - Dagger85: If Eagles beat cards and we win tomorrow, next week will be who is in control of #2 sees
Dec 19, 2015 7:27 AM - Dagger85: Seed
Dec 19, 2015 7:28 AM - PackerDNA: Heh, just the thought of rooting for the Eagles leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Dec 19, 2015 7:29 AM - PackerDNA: Well., Dagger85, if you control the seed, it's a good bet you control the sees, too. :D
Dec 19, 2015 7:56 AM - Green and Gold: I wouldn't be surprised to see GB shutting down Ty for the rest of the year.
Dec 19, 2015 7:58 AM - JP Doyal: Yea that is a big disappointment..
Dec 19, 2015 8:05 AM - Dagger85: Hahaha DNA
Dec 19, 2015 8:06 AM - Dagger85: Hoping Ty comes back for playoffs. But that's so disappointing
Dec 19, 2015 8:43 AM - milani: Ty is fragile. Kind of a Randy Moss type. Don't get caught in the trenches where the contact is. Go long down the seam or run sideline routes and get ot of bounds before they hit you.
Dec 19, 2015 8:52 AM - Green and Gold: When Ty finally gets back he owes us a bunch of touchdowns for all the time he missed.
Dec 19, 2015 8:59 AM - JP Doyal: http://gnb.247sports.com/Gallery/42054977/Photos/keyspng-4092702?View=Full#keyspng-4092702
Dec 19, 2015 9:04 AM - azrsx05: Carolina loses to Giants tomorrow
Dec 19, 2015 9:09 AM - JP Doyal: I agree azrsx05! I have that feeling
Dec 19, 2015 10:08 AM - Twiddlemylobes: Curious about Ty. Did he reaggravate his ankle 2X? And if so when was the most recent. It wasn't clear
Dec 19, 2015 10:12 AM - Pokerbrat2000: this is the best information on timeline I can find http://gnb.247sports.com/Bolt/It-may-be-time-for-Packers-to-shut-down-Ty-Montgomery-42106734
Dec 19, 2015 11:23 AM - Twiddlemylobes: Thnx poker
Dec 19, 2015 12:03 PM - MiamiBeachPacker: Bowl games any good today?
Dec 19, 2015 12:32 PM - SeahawkFan80: ABC alcorn state vs NC AnT....decent. Just saw a shank kick...your guys new kicker???
Dec 19, 2015 2:10 PM - red4tribe: 13 wins is the magic number. We lost at 13-0 in 2011, the Broncos and 1998 lost at 13-0, Saints in 2009 lost at 13-0
Dec 19, 2015 3:34 PM - adambr2: To me doesn't bother me if the Panthers go 16-0. More pressure on them if we play them in January.
Dec 19, 2015 3:35 PM - adambr2: What would be crazy is if Seattle continues to play like they have...could actually see a 5th seeded 11-5 team favored on the road vs. a 16-0 team.
Dec 19, 2015 3:49 PM - Twiddlemylobes: One thing is for sure. It's super tough to stay on top for 19 games
Dec 19, 2015 3:55 PM - Twiddlemylobes: Although the Raiders may not be a top Tier opponent, this week will be a better indicator of where we stand. I really feel like Janis deserves a shot downfield at receiver to explore his potential. Especially if we get up 2 scores
Dec 19, 2015 5:54 PM - ls1bob: Wow Dallas stopped them inside the 5
Dec 19, 2015 6:04 PM - Green and Gold: DAL needs Flynn.
Dec 19, 2015 6:16 PM - ls1bob: Cassell and Bryant look so disinterested
Dec 19, 2015 6:17 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: game is painful to watch
Dec 19, 2015 6:17 PM - ls1bob: Yes

Dec 19, 2015 at 8:01 PM - SeahawkFan80: Kellen Moore Boise State and Prosser kid. Kinda liking the game.
Dec 19, 2015 at 8:03 PM - SeahawkFan80: I think that Cam is kinda all that and a bag of chips...but those are Sherman's chips...and he wants them back.
Dec 20, 2015 at 6:17 AM - 4Ever4Favre: The injury report should read:
Dec 20, 2015 at 6:17 AM - 4Ever4Favre: WR Devonte Adams Hands (Questionable)
Dec 20, 2015 at 6:37 AM - ls1bob: I tell you,Adams must play lights out in practice and the 4th and 5th receivers must be terrible. He has been treated with a lot of patience for his lackluster effort and drops
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:05 AM - longtimefan: Peyton wont be the back up if he is healthy.....
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:06 AM - longtimefan: Rumor is peyton doesnt want to be the backup......i start or im done??
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:23 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Sounds like a certain #4 in Packer history. I get it......earned his stripes as a starter, no sense being in the game as a clipboard carrier
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:25 AM - longtimefan: yup..but peyton truly was horrible most of the year, now Brock is doing pretty well....It is all about who gives them the best chance...
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:26 AM - ls1bob: I think Peyton may have been why Fox is gone. Fox may have expressed the idea that the team could be better without Peyton
Dec 20, 2015 at 7:30 AM - PackerDNA: Peyton is pretty much done. I hope he retires after this season.
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:01 AM - Dagger85: If Vikings lose today couldnt our game with a win make us north champs? Or am I looking at this wrong
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:04 AM - azrsx05: No. Because it's only a 2 game lead if we win. With 2 games remaining. They can win out and we could lose out giving them the north
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:04 AM - Dagger85: Wait. Maybe not
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:04 AM - Dagger85: Yeah that's right. I was adding wrong
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:05 AM - Dagger85: ill go back and take 2nd grade math :D
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:07 AM - azrsx05: I'm not 100% of the conference record but even with that scenario. Packers would win the north. Becaise they would end with the same division record
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:17 AM - Jdeed: raiders rush is gonna be interesting.
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:28 AM - azrsx05: How do you beat a good rushing team? Screen plays and running the ball. Packers are probably one of the best at screen plays
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:29 AM - SeahawkFan80: Depends on their defense....
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:57 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: we make playoffs if we win this
Dec 20, 2015 at 8:58 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: but on top of that, i don't think the bears win in minny today
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:01 AM - longtimefan: Playoffs can be had b4 packers play...forget how but read it
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:02 AM - SeahawkFan80: Cam sporting a greatest american hero shirt. Ugh.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:09 AM - longtimefan: According to scenarios released by the NFL, the Buccaneers’ loss on Thursday night means Green Bay clinches a playoff spot if either the Giants or Redskins lose on Sunday, regardless of how the Packers fare.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:10 AM - Dagger85: SHF: didn't you hear? Cam is the greatest player ever. And if people from our teams danced it would be arrogant. But he's "just having fun out there"
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:11 AM - SeahawkFan80: Oh man...I missed the briefing...LOL
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:11 AM - longtimefan: I think lot of people just cant stand other teams be undefeated.....as they say...dont like it? Stop it....rodgers made commercials over his dc dbl ck....
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:11 AM - Dagger85: Haha I'll keep you filled in if anything changes
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:12 AM - Dagger85: Well I just can't figure it out. The refs penalize players for celebration but Cam can do anything
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:12 AM - Dagger85: But that's the game. Stop him if you want him to shut up
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:13 AM - SeahawkFan80: Thanks man. LTF...yes, I agree. Some think it is bad that a legacy team like the dolphins lose their only claim to fame.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:14 AM - Dagger85: I wonder if they'll lose I wonder what it will do to them psychologically
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:15 AM - SeahawkFan80: Today, it probably would help them...next week it would shatter them.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:18 AM - Dagger85: But no, I haven't cared for Cam since he was at Auburn

Dec 20, 2015 at 9:20 AM - SeahawkFan80: with all that he is doing at the moment, I think that all he is doing is marketing himself. That said, there is a good way to market and a negative way to market....he chose the latter.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:24 AM - Dagger85: Let's see, which game do I want to watch at noon
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:24 AM - Dagger85: Car/NYG and Chi/Minn I guess
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:25 AM - Dagger85: Oh and Houston and Colts will have major playoff implications
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:25 AM - SeahawkFan80: Titans patsies on cbs here. no game on fox here.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:26 AM - Dagger85: Because you're getting Seattle?
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:26 AM - SeahawkFan80: Got a dvd in now....the dark crystal...I may watch it to see who wins.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:26 AM - SeahawkFan80: yes..the late game
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:27 AM - SeahawkFan80: I can watch games..but choose not to....at the moment.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:29 AM - Dagger85: Enjoy the game guys. Going to kick back on my couch an relax for the next......12 hours
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:29 AM - Dagger85: And
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:31 AM - Dagger85: Well I won't be too relaxed for 3 1/2 hrs of that
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:31 AM - SeahawkFan80: you too Dagger. And I shall be...we only play the browns....
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:41 AM - desertdog55: Predicting two upsets today.....Giants over Carolina and Phil over Arizona.....:)
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:46 AM - rodell330: The first scenario id agree with...no way Philliy beats Arizona
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:54 AM - azrsx05: Just how no way Philly beats New England?
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:57 AM - weeds: Green Bay market doesnt get an early fox game..,that sucks..,stuck with titans and pats on cbs...phft..ah well, i have a wake to go to anyway...
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:57 AM - Dagger85: Philly was up 21 on New England and have been playing decent ball
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:57 AM - Dagger85: And they want the division
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:58 AM - PackerDNA: You won't see another game like that Philly-NE one again for a while. NE dominated; Philly had an INT in the end zone, another INT from their 5 for a 99 yd TD, a punt return and blocked punt return for TD's. NE probably should have won by 20+.
Dec 20, 2015 at 9:59 AM - SeahawkFan80: I have the same thing here weeds.....minus the wake. A friend just lost his dad. They took care of it Thursday. Peace to the family Weeds.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:03 AM - bubba: What the????? Titans and Cheatriots. You have to be kidding me. No game on FOX!!!
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:04 AM - bubba: CBS should be embarrased telivising this match up.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:04 AM - Dagger85: I feel sick saying this, but go bears
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:06 AM - SeahawkFan80: THey are bubba....
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:06 AM - longtimefan: we get texans and colts...no other game
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:06 AM - rodell330: The Philly vs Cheatriots game was an anomaly .
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:06 AM - Dagger85: Giants with 2 drops
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:06 AM - SeahawkFan80: Dagger....soap or other cleansers work well....LOL
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:07 AM - Dagger85: And a Panther just slammed Odell to the ground well after the whistle and no flag
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:07 AM - rodell330: Sounds like you fellas need to get NFL Sunday Ticket ;)

Dec 20, 2015 at 10:08 AM - SeahawkFan80: Naw...Rodell...I can watch what I want in other ways...but not saying it here. I dont have cable although the seahawks do, nor do I have direct or dish..but my cat has a dish.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:09 AM - PackerDNA: I'm in Houston. Only game on is Texans-Colts, which is fine. Packers will be on local TV here at 3 pm, Den-Pitt at 3:25 on CBS. But I'll be heading for the pub soon for GB to watch with my friends and beer.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:10 AM - SeahawkFan80: Beer is a cleanser for when you say things like Go Bears???
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:11 AM - Dagger85: Im rooting against Vikings....not for the Bears
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:11 AM - Dagger85: 3 and out for Carolina on their own 3
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:14 AM - longtimefan: direct tv...free nfl sunday ticket
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:14 AM - PackerDNA: Even that doesn't help, Seahawk. Maybe some Draino....
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:14 AM - Dagger85: I signed up this year for DirecTV and got Sunday ticket for free
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:15 AM - Dagger85: i was having to go to a fellow packer friends house for games
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:15 AM - SeahawkFan80: Naw....Draino makes you a Raider fan....ewww.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:16 AM - bubba: Does cable offer a Sunday Ticket special.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:16 AM - Dagger85: just DIrecTV
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:16 AM - Dagger85: you may be able to get Redzone
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:17 AM - Dagger85: they jump from game to game
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:17 AM - Dagger85: Now, there are stipulations though. DirecTV may offer sunday ticket streaming if you can't get directv in your area, etc.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:17 AM - Dagger85: But thats something you would have to ask them
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:17 AM - bubba: Figures Dagger. I had to order NFL network for an extra fee.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:18 AM - PackerDNA: I don't think so, bubba, but now that DirecTV has been bought out by AT&T that may change.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:18 AM - Dagger85: Crazy. I dont agree that it can only be offered through one service
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:18 AM - Dagger85: Not fair
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:19 AM - Dagger85: I had to switch providers just for football so I could have sunday ticket
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:19 AM - Dagger85: ODell and Norman have had 2 fights in 5 minutes
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:19 AM - bubba: Yeah. I would definitely pay for a service like this if they would offer it.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:20 AM - PackerDNA: Vikes up, 7-0
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:21 AM - longtimefan: my sunday ticjket is free
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:22 AM - Dagger85: How long have you had to LTF?
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:22 AM - Dagger85: it
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:22 AM - longtimefan: sincve may
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:22 AM - longtimefan: may be free for this year not sure
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:23 AM - bubba: Maybe they will switch to a more competitive game at halftime.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:23 AM - Dagger85: Its free your first year I think
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:24 AM - Dagger85: This giants and panthers game is chippy
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:24 AM - Dagger85: 2 fights. Late hits...

Dec 20, 2015 at 10:36 AM - longtimefan: 7-7 tied up
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:38 AM - PackerDNA: 10-0 Vikes. Thanks, Bears. Meanwhile the Texans curse at Indy continues.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:39 AM - bubba: Bears are in early hibernation
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:40 AM - bubba: Cheatriots up 14-0 SNOOZE!!!
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:41 AM - SeahawkFan80: There is a draft....in their cavern....future that is.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:44 AM - bubba: Anyone else think jarone Elliot should get more playing time?
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:44 AM - rodell330: With all this Adams talk (mostly negative) I wouldn't be shocked if he's demoted to #4 on the depth chart next year. Even if he's healthy. You might have Nelson, Montgomery, and Cobb as the top 3 next year. If Montgomery can be effective on the outside which I think he can ... He definitely has the ability to separate and he's got a compact strong frame which allows him to break a lot of tackles.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:45 AM - rodell330: I like Elliot .. Him and Dhaytone have actually been pretty good this year
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:46 AM - bubba: I think Perry and Neal are expendable. Nothing special and always hurt.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:46 AM - rodell330: If we lose Raji don't be shocked to see Daniels moved to the inside giving Elliot more snaps
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:49 AM - PackerDNA: I don't think Elliot ends up as much more than JAG. They need to stop with the 2-3 year expeiriments and get more aggresive in player aquisition.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:49 AM - bubba: I think Raji is adequate but wouldnt resign him to a huge contract.
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:51 AM - bubba: Player aquisition. Whats that? HAHA
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:52 AM - PackerDNA: Agree on Raji, bubba
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:53 AM - PackerDNA: Redskins all over Bills,21-0
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:54 AM - PackerDNA: Looks like 8 in a row for KC
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:56 AM - bubba: Thoughts on Peppers. Still playing well. Is he back next year for 8 million is he released or will they try to redo his contract?
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:58 AM - PackerDNA: IMO, he's hitting the wall. 8M? No way
Dec 20, 2015 at 10:58 AM - rodell330: I don't see Raji signing another 1 yr deal no way. Raji could be in New England or Minnesota next year.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM - rodell330: If Charles Woodson was cut and not even given a chance to redo his contract this could be the last year we see Peppers in Green Bay .
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM - SeahawkFan80: He shall probably sign a 3 to 4 year deal for way too much again.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM - SeahawkFan80: Raji
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:02 AM - rodell330: One of Teddy's 1st round picks... I wouldn't be shocked.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:02 AM - bubba: Teddy Bears scored!!!!
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:04 AM - SeahawkFan80: Bears scored...so they can go back to sleep now???
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:04 AM - bubba: Packer pregame now on radio.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:08 AM - ls1bob: I like Tyrod Taylor. Smart qb
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:09 AM - Green and Gold: Make today 2-0 in the Bay Area! Go Pack!!
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:09 AM - ls1bob: Go Pack Go
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:10 AM - Raptorman: Raji in Min MN? never happen, just who would he replace?

Dec 20, 2015 at 11:10 AM - bubba: Tyrod Taylor 2 for 7 for 27 yards???
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:11 AM - ls1bob: He has been running well this drive
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:12 AM - ls1bob: A lot of their losses have surprisingly been because of the defense this year
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:13 AM - rodell330: Never say never Raptor...I said the same thing about Peppers coming to Green Bay
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:14 AM - ls1bob: The D has regressed under Ryan versus what they did under Schwartz as D coordinator
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:14 AM - Raptorman: yeah, MN will dump floyd for raji, or maybe joseph
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:21 AM - desertdog55: Looks like my prediction was **** Carolina in persuit of 72 Dolphins
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:23 AM - rodell330: He doesn't have to start. That would be a nice rotation with those three
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:25 AM - bubba: Mcarthy calling plays. Good change or really doesnt matter. Thoughts? I liked the fact we were not constantly snapping the ball with 1 second left on the play clock.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:26 AM - ls1bob: Olsen doesn't look very hurt to me
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:27 AM - ls1bob: Bubba, I like MM calling plays. To me he has a better pulse of what AR and the team needs
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:28 AM - Green and Gold: Jpp needs to just swing his club and hope for the best.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:29 AM - desertdog55: Beckum shut out so far
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:31 AM - bubba: Titans keeping it close. Only down by 21 at half.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:32 AM - realcaliforniacheese: cant believe he dropped that first pass, that was 7 points if he catches it.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:33 AM - desertdog55: Just don't see anyone beating Carolina.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:34 AM - thisisnate: giants would be if not for a few huge miscues
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:34 AM - bubba: I could see Seattle or Arizona beating them in the playoffs
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:34 AM - thisisnate: at the half i mean*
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:34 AM - desertdog55: Nope...I don't....people keep saying they are overratted....I just don't see it....they are very good.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:35 AM - desertdog55: Newton is playing out of his mind.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:37 AM - thisisnate: meh.... no interest in any of these noon games with the way they look at halftime
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:38 AM - ls1bob: Yeah. I have Sunday ticket and none are really interesting
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:38 AM - SeahawkFan80: I dont fear cams team a bit. We have most of our tools back.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:39 AM - desertdog55: I don't see Seattle going to Carolina and winning...IMO
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:39 AM - ls1bob: I think Carolina is good, but I think they are going to crash and burn in the playoffs
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:39 AM - desertdog55: Nor do I see Arizona doing it either.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:39 AM - Green and Gold: Rodgers, do some of that MVP stuff today!
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:40 AM - desertdog55: I dunno, everyone has said all year that they are going to lose, yet they keep winning...lol
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:41 AM - Croak: Carolina isn't flashy looking, just solid.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:41 AM - SeahawkFan80: I think when we play in Az, we will find out if the team is really back on track or if they are resting starters...we wont.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:41 AM - ls1bob: Yeah, I have been guilty of it too, but I don't think they make it to the super bowl
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:41 AM - SeahawkFan80: They seem to be squeaking out a win....
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:42 AM - SeahawkFan80: I dont think we will let them squeak it out if we go there to play.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:42 AM - desertdog55: They are very solid, and their best receiver is out for the year....go figure...

Dec 20, 2015 at 11:43 AM - desertdog55: Now, if Cam gets hurt, all bets are off.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:43 AM - Croak: Invest in stickum!
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:43 AM - ls1bob: Or Olsen
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:43 AM - thisisnate: you'd need to hit that man with a humvee to hurt him
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:43 AM - SeahawkFan80: and hope the humvee survives.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:44 AM - Croak: Jenkins hit Can earlier and Newton went off favoring his shoulder
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:45 AM - thisisnate: yeah, and then he came back on the next drive and threw a touchdown dart like immediately
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:45 AM - thisisnate: was a mere tickle
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:45 AM - desertdog55: One lucky hit on a knee and it is good night.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:45 AM - Croak: Yep, on rollouts
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:46 AM - Gonepackin: Did you know if Panthers win, Packers clinch a playoff spot?
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:46 AM - thisisnate: i didn't know that, gonepackin
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:46 AM - desertdog55: How is that?
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:47 AM - Croak: Wish the skins to lose too
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:47 AM - Gonepackin: Yeah a Giants loss or Washington football team loss
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:48 AM - Gonepackin: Because those teams either couldn't catch the packers or would lose on tiebreakers
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:48 AM - desertdog55: Washington was up big last I checked
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:49 AM - Gonepackin: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000602419/article/2015-nfl-playoff-scenarios-for-week-15
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:49 AM - Gonepackin: Yup but it's EITHER A Giants loss or redskins loss.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:49 AM - Gonepackin: Since Tampa lost Thursday
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:50 AM - Croak: Newton down again
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:51 AM - longtimefan: maybe bad foot...was stepped on
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:51 AM - Croak: Pack will win in Oakland and other scenarios are moot
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:52 AM - SeahawkFan80: but but butj.......squirrel
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:53 AM - desertdog55: Not going to the AZ game against the Pack here....but rumor has it Cardinal fans were selling their tickets to Packer fans.....LMAO
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:55 AM - longtimefan: think airins (card coach0 was in news talking about that
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:56 AM - desertdog55: There are a TON of Packer fans here in Arizona....plus the snowbirds who come here for the winter
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:56 AM - Green and Gold: kirk cousins is the redskins future
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:58 AM - ls1bob: Good adjustment by Jackson too
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:58 AM - SeahawkFan80: I think we had 2/5 of the stadium last year. Maybe more this year when we play.
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:58 AM - SeahawkFan80: Cousins is decent GnG
Dec 20, 2015 at 11:59 AM - desertdog55: Cardinal fans are fair weather. They make their money from other teams fans coming here. It's the weather.
Dec 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM - SeahawkFan80: That is what the lady said at the bar I was at last year. Scottsdale..cheeseburgers and some such or next to it.
Dec 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM - Croak: I think I would enjoy the Arizona climate, though.
