I know, there's nothing else much to talk about
I've learned to live with many blown calls, in life and in sport. The ones in life I have to live with, the ones in sport I don't. I don't mind the human element in sports. It will never be perfect. There can be a balance to it. But everytime there is a big game and a bad call, people want more replay. Whether it was no replay, unlimited replay, replay of penalties, which we had at one time and it wasn't good. 2 challenges, 2 challenges but now every scoring/turnover/inside 2 minutes will be called by replay official, etc. One constant, controversy, missed calls. And I firmly believe this game is being called differently because of replay.
The Detroit game as an example. Not a single official called it a turnover on the field during the play. Not 1. They had a conference and decided to just call it a TD and let replay sort it out. Then it didn't. I'd rather a game be judged by people in the game, and keep their eyes sharp. No more being lazy. I'll find a way to live with the calls.
