Rasul Douglas back on a 3 year deal

i'm torn these though.
#1, i guess I was raised words are just words and we've all said stupid stuff at some point and were just fortunate nobody was around to hear it. So I tend not to put much stock into this stuff.

But #2, it's easy to not put your stupid stuff out there for everyone to read so stop doing it. Trust me, your thoughts aren't all that original in dire need of sharing with everyone. They aren't all your "friends" or "followers". many are just looking for something to rip into someone else over, so keep that stuff for your real friends. Guys that can't stop make me nervous

Maybe he should just tone it down a little. I wish their Agents would nudge them along on personal matters some. Social media gets publicized quickly. That can have negative long term affects on a players career. Obviously we want the best for Rasul and we want him to achieve the most from his NFL career. Even Mason Crosby’s wife learned that as she removed part of her post about their moving on from Green Bay. That media just gets misperceived or taken out of context.

I totally agree @tynimiller. The best Personal protection from media misinterpretation is limiting what you say.

LOL (tosses life preserver) Trust me I'm all for free speech, our country will die if it dies...however the tongue is something that must be self controlled, and if it isn't is one of the quickest ways to accomplish the demise of a man. Rasul is all innocent atm, sure comments or subtle digs...but it is merely an observation that eventually in such a position as his it will become a problem if it keeps ascending is all.

You'd think these guys would be a little more savvy. There is a lot of money at stake for these players. And a pretty short window to make the big bucks. When I was working as a professional educator, I avoided social media like the plague.
