I don't want this game flexed. Its going to be cold enough as it is....I don't need to freeze even more with no sunshine!!!

Yep, it's ALL FIXED!LOL do you think the NFL is going to let that game be meaningless ? of course not. They could end up a 5th seed very easily

That's why this guy's such a big fan.
OK... but the NFL gods surely won't break the at-home win streak, so which game will they mandate that GB lose @Buffalo or @ Tampa? My mortgage is in your hands since you're sure.it is. The sooner you learn that the better off youll be.
What if those other teams have also clinched theirs though? It all depends on if the Packers vs. Lions game will decide the NFC North champion. I don´t think any of the other games will decide a division champion (maybe I´m wrong about the Bengals vs. Steelers game though).
I don´t expect them to flex the game to Sunday night if the Packers have already clinched the division though.
I doubt that the Lions will lose to the Vikings, Bears, or Tampa, essentially making this a moot point. Even if they do, we could drop one somewhere as well, @ Buffalo being the most likely.
The most likely scenario is still that Week 17 is for the division.
Have to agree for a different reason. 4am alarm clocks are brutal after the Packers play prime time games.I don't want this game flexed. Its going to be cold enough as it is....I don't need to freeze even more with no sunshine!!!
These of course aren't the same old Lions of William Ford who lie down in the second half of the season, his son is building the team for winning when was the last time the Lions could end the season at 11-5/12-4? The early 90s 1991 to be exact before Mike Holmgern, before Favre and before the Pack were relevant.Losing one of those three games sure would be Lions thing to do.
The last time they could have ended the season 11-5/12-4? Well that would have been 2011 when they headed to Green Bay at 10-5 and promptly lost to a Matt Flynn 6 td performance. These of course aren't the same old Lions of William Ford who lie down in the second half of the season, his son is building the team for winning when was the last time the Lions could end the season at 11-5/12-4? Keep in mind that even if the Lions falter, we're fighting with a whole host of teams for the #1 seed. Arizona, Philly, possibly Seattle or Dallas. Someone in that group is going at least 12-4. The chances of us having the #1 seed locked up going into Week 17 are really remote, and we're not going to rest starters if the #1 seed is at stake.
You do realize saying it over and over again does not make it any more true? It just makes you wrong over and over again. The sooner you realize that the less idotic you will appear but hey if your goal is to look like an imbecile or simply to troll, goal accomplished. And if neither of those are your goals, the tinfoil hats are in aisle 3 and thanks for sharing.LOL do you think the NFL is going to let that game be meaningless ? of course not. There is no Sunday Night game the last week of the season. It ends the week prior.
The one game I could see them possibly losing is at Buffalo. Call me crazy but I could see a definite trap game there making your game against Detroit more improtant...
We got a fairly easy next few games. If we win out like we should we dont need to worry about the other teams. A 1 Seed or 2 Seed im happy with. Its the first round bye that matters.
For Week 17 what if we have atleast #2 Seed locked I wouldent mind playing not that hard it would be nice to have HFA but I dont want to see people getting banged up.
Not sure how that works but Fox has that game so I don't know if it could be flexed to Sunday night. Sunday night Football is carried by NBC,but it could be moved to the 3:25 p.m. slot on Fox.It´s possible the Packers vs. Lions game will be flexed to Sunday night.

Now I wonder if Fox has a game like GB vs. Detroit at 12:00 and the NFL pulls it from them to NBC does Fox get compensated for having a game pulled from them?If that game is going to be for the NFC North title, one would think Fox would lose out on TV revenue.Maybe this will help you to understand it:

The NFL hasn´t scheduled a Sunday night game for week 17 so far but they will flex one to the NBC slot after the conclusion of week 16.

There's also no reason to think they can't choke one of them away. There's no reason to think Detroit can't beat TAM and MIN at home and CHI on the road. I suspect the Division will be decided in week 17.
