Could have and should have offered it to Holmgren. That was our best chance of a Super Bowl repeat. It was a glaring error to offer it to Sherman, as I think many of us knew at the time.

And naming Ray Rhodes as the successor to Holmgren was even worse.

Still could have given him transportation if that was true. What if the Vikings had bit on the call and he ran for a TD? Would the mayor of GB given him the keys to the city?
