After viewing Savion's highlights, he projects as a TE #2 and fullback. He's lined up in the backfield a lot and runs hard. I don't see him making guys miss as much as he runs through tacklers.
He carries the ball too far from his body. If that doesn't radically change he'll be a fumbling machine.
I can see his utility as the #2 TE but the pick is a luxury when the Packers really need help on the D line. How are they going to stop the run when your biggest D lineman is 313 pound, 30 year old Kenny Clark? Just adding a few late round big guys won't cut it vs the Lions and Eagles offensive lines. To get to the SB, you have to beat the best. We all saw what happened in the 2019 NFCCG vs the Niners when the run defense was weak.

I wouldn't be surprised if we find out this coming off-season that Watson isn't get a 5th year.
Watson was a second round pick so he won't be eligible for a fifth year option. If the Packers want him in 2026, he'll need to be extended. Given the investment in Golden and Savion Williams, Watson's future with the team is doubtful.

To me he already jettisoned his previous trends. Other than 2020 I do not recall the 1st 3 picks being offense.
One thing that does seem consistent with Gute, all 3 players that the Packers have drafted so far, are listed as being one of the Packers top 30 visits.

I confess this one is a bit of a head-scratcher for me...Not a position of need, but at the same time I am intrigued as to how LeFleur plans to use him. He seems like a gadget player, but not a small one. Makes me think of Cordelle Patterson.

Given that we already have added gadget-guy/kick returner Mecole Hardman and have a pretty crowded receiver room, I'm anxious to see where this guy fits in.

Crazy excellent YAC dude that could be everywhere for us from backfield, to TE to split out wide…unique weapon!
Reflective of that kind of offense. The Packers were in the infant stages in the Cobb years. It is hard to use this against defenses like Philly but it succeeds against most if you pick the right time and execute it.

I don't see the Pack keeping Hardman this year. The Chiefs soured on him twice and He didn't last long with the Jets either. If one of the new WRs can take over the KR/PR job I think he is outta here. He was also suspected of leaking game plans while a Jet because he wasn't happy with playing time.
