Bears only have Williams as their run game. Got to key on him on the RPO plays.
They have more than double the rushing yards Green Bay has, and Williams accounts for more than half of them. Their quarterback has more rushing yards than our entire offense.

That new offensive coordinator seems to know exactly how to get the most out of Williams; this is Caleb's "welcome to the NFL" game.

And jesus.... doesn't help matters that Quay is making him look likle Barry Sanders.

Can’t help but notice that the usual folks who complain about the “Debbie downers” and “negative Nellies” are once again nowhere to be found….

Who is even the slightest bit surprised that we’d come off the bye and treat one of the worst offensive teams I’ve ever seen in my life to their best performance of the season? Couldn’t be more predictable.

I didn’t think this would be some Packers blowout. I didn’t think we’d get steam rolled on the ground either. Still anyone’s game. Chicago is fighting for their lives cause if they lose this game their season is over probability wise. They likely have 2 losses against Detroit coming up. Detroit put up 35 points today by then first drive after halftime.
Chicago going to 4-6 is basically the end of their season just because of the division games coming.

Reminds me a bit of those Kaepernick playoff games. Not a pleasant memory.

The defense had two weeks to prepare and this is the result
Yes, they could prepare for the Bears, but they fired their OC this week, so technically that's not entirely true, not knowing what kind gameplan the new guy would put in.

Plus, this edition of Kaepernick is a dangerous passer as well.

At this point, Matt Lafleur is getting outcoached by Eberlfuis and Love is getting outplayed by Williams. Our defense is getting manhandled.

I'm not giving up on the game, because we have the weapons to turn it around quickly if they start play better, but at this point it's a poor performance all around. And I'm certainly not giving up on the season, but there's no denying that this team consistently has serious problems with consistency and focus in big games. That doesn't bode well for our playoff hopes.
