We are a clown show of Abric proportion I mean the fact that you guys had to sweat it is a victory and itself for me because come on it's us. We are the worst franchise ever and it sucks because I'll be back here next free season and I'll talk the same smack Cause I love my team but right now I want to go jump off a cliff so all you can look forward to either barely missing the playoffs or an epic beat down in the first round so just shiiiittteeeee
You're going to talk the same smack? You mean it won't get better? Maybe with a couple of good drafts... ya know...

I'll take a scummy undeserved "W" .... but I have to ask ... when will this team look playoff caliber. We keep saying there's a lot of season left but good God, give me some execution...give me some imposing of their will on a lesser opponent... give me a foot on the proverbial throat instead of this flailing like they're learning to dog paddle.

My assessment of that game does not center on the Bears Defense. We moved the ball fine on the very few possessions that we had. Our low points was a result of terrible red zone decisions in playcalling and poor execution… AND the fact that our own defense sucked allowing long Bear possesions limiting the

My only comment is MLF needs to give up play calling which is dull, unimaginative, and doesn’t fool anyone.

I thought we blocked it and it hit the bottom of the goalposts. Maybe I'm wrong though, my eyesight's not the best.

Thought that at first, but watched again. Optical illusion on the slow replay. Looks like it hit around the goal line then bounced to the end zone.

If they look like a playoff team in the last 3 weeks, great. Otherwise style points are useless to gnash teeth over.
Agree. Right now you need to stack up wins, to hopefully make the dance. Once you get there anything can happen. You want to be clicking on all cylinders at the end, like we were last year, which is opposite of how the Eagles were heading into the playoffs.

A win is a win but are the Packers a good team? There was some good and plenty of bad in today's game. While there are no moral loses in the NFL, this victory is less than satisfying. I love the 11th in a row against the Bears but they got outplayed which doesn't bode well for future games against the good teams. A poor Bears O line just dominated the LOS on way too many running plays even if you somehow think Caleb Williams yards were a fluke. I was hoping for more coming out of the bye with a relatively healthy team.
This is the time to bring out the old saying that if you can play poorly and still win the game, you're pretty good. Not sure that applies to this game though lol.

He's a Bears fan… i'm sure realistic optimism doesn’t come naturally.
I remember for years it seems like most Bears fans were convinced every year that they were going to win the Super Bowl, no matter how unrealistic it was. Personally, I find the change refreshing.

I don't think winning ugly is the sign of a good team. On the contrary, it means that when you face a good team, it will be an ugly loss.

All the teams they should have beat, they did. 3 loses, all to playoff teams ( Eagles, Vikings, Lions). Only 1 signature win at the moment ( Texans), but no what you would call "bad" loses, aside for not playing well in 2 of those games. Eventually, they need to win a tough matchup, if they want to be a contender, and the 49ers next week could be that game. The Dolphins and Saints are finding some life the past two weeks, so those games are looking more difficult as we get closer. Really need to beat the Vikings this time around. I just don't envision a win vs the Lions in Detroit.

I know everyone's gonna go ahead and rub it in, but you guys aren't gonna do anything in the playoffs. Anyways you beat the worst team in the league arguably by a point so sleep on that.
Well, I'm sure as hell not going to rub it in. This is nothing for cheeseheads to brag about; it may be the ugliest game I've ever seen us win.

And you're right - this version of the Packers is going to get humiliated in January. They need to pull their heads out of their ***** and develop some consistency and some discipline - although I'll give them credit for keeping the penalties down this time.

And most important, some damned leadership. I don't see much evidence of that this year, especially on offense. It's a serious downside of being the youngest team in the league. Every team needs a couple of grumpy old men to keep the kids in line.

Like I say, I won'tvb rub it it because I know how lucky we got. This is a game the Bears should have won, and deserved to win. And the fans deserved it too.

But hell, I'll take it.

Another measuring stick is if you lose games, but they're close, that can be a positive sign.

I'm sounding like a broken record now but that's what happens when you are competing in the toughest division in football as the youngest team in the league. If you look at the NFC North rankings they correlate literally to how experienced each starting QB is.

This is why I didn't like the Douglas/Smith trades-it's not much about the on-field impact or value of the trade capital it's the getting rid of the few vets you have when you're already a Similac-infested roster

The inconsistencies we see from the team is the product of being so young point blank and it's hard to gauge how we will play moving forward as a result.

I do hope we can repeat what we did last year and get hot late/go into Detroit and blast them because quite frankly the Lions get on my nerves!

I actually mostly agree. The only thing I will say is Caleb Williams is a good athlete. He uses both his legs and arm and today mostly hurt us with his legs by extending drives and scrambling for pretty amazing tight window throws.

The crowd was 100% in favor of Chicago it was raucous. That environment isn’t easy. Especially when we are not playing to our ability.

We did enough today. Lots of areas of improvement needed to make a deep playoff run. The Win column buys us time.

Jaire played only 10 snaps after reaggravating his knee injury in the 1st half... which was still 6 more snaps than Eric Stokes had. I think that speaks volumes about the long term employment of #21 in Green Bay after this season.
