I highly doubt the Packers will have sufficient cap space left to either trade for Ford or sign Houston.

I would be fine with the Packers releasing Williams if they bring back Breeland but it wouldn't be smart to cut Bulaga.

I guess the Packers will move on from Perry. There's no doubt the team needs another edge rusher even after signing Smith.

From what I've read it makes more sense to dump Perry after June 1st if the Packers are planning to do so. I could be wrong about that though

That's not true at all as Perry is due a $5 million roster bonus in a few days which the team wouldn't have to pay if they released him before then.

Only if they want to spread his cap hit out over 2 years. Keeping him past 3/14 will cost the Packers an additional $5,137,500. I would take the hit now.

Prediction - It is going to feel like more than we wanted to pay. At the same time these are two guys I really like going after. They should not have a steep decline at the end of their contract. And now we are not forced to draft specific positions with half our picks

Smith is a young player who has steadily improved since entering the league. He was pretty good rushing the passer last season.
