Ok, very good.

So-- with the Packers being up, it's time to vote. As this is the most important pick of the whole exercise to those concerned, I think I will let it play out until tomorrow morning (unless, of course, people vote right away).

If a trade is agreed in principle with a poster, that can be a voting option. People may also change their votes to the trade option if it is agreed upon after they've cast a vote.

Sticking and picking at #14 would leave the following options:
  • H. Landry, ED, Boston College
  • M. Davenport, ED, Texas San Antonio
  • J. Jackson, CB, Iowa
  • J. Alexander, CB, Louisville
  • M. Hughes, CB, Central Florida
  • C. Ridley, WR, Alabama
  • C. Sutton, WR, Southern Methodist
  • D. Moore, WR, Maryland
  • M. Hurst, DL, Michigan
  • V. Vea, DL, Washington
  • D. Payne, DL, Alabama
  • T. Bryan, DL, Florida
  • L. Vander Esch, LB, Boise State
  • R. Evans, LB, Alabama
  • D. Guice, RB, LSU
  • S. Michel, RB, Georgia
  • R. Jones, RB, USC
  • J. Reid, S, Stanford
  • W. Hernandez, G, Texas El Paso
  • I. Wynn, OL, Georgia
  • J. Daniels, OL, Iowa
  • M. McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
  • C. Williams, OT, Texas
  • B. Price, OL, Ohio State
  • M. Gesicki, TE, Penn State
  • D. Goedert, TE, South Dakota State
  • H. Hurst, TE, South Carolina
This list is in no particular order and no one is required to pick from it, however I do think it's pretty comprehensive. It's just meant to be a reference for those who don't want to go hunting high and low.

For myself, Landry, Jackson, Ridley, and Vander Esch are the attractive names.

As Landry is there, I vote that we stick at #14 and pick him.
My vote is for Landry.

My intention with getting da Skins is so I could take Harold Landry so you buttheads wouldn't take him at 14 for the Packers. But, I'm going to play honest here.

Pick is very easy. Josh Allen (who will actually probably go #1 overall)

The Packers are on the clock.
I have not looked twice at all the qbs this year. When I looked up a list of qbs, I looked up an old list I think. Lol. Whoops.

Poor bills.

Actually I looked up CBS sports draft rankings...has Rudolph as the top ranked qb, #10 overall.........?

The next list I see Rudolph ranked #74 and 6th qb....lol.

Truth is I don't think anyone really knows, except maybe Amishmafia. Rudolph is 6'5" 235. I'm not a fan of the smallish qbs. So I went with the big guy.....

Should have just took vea.

GB should pick vea.....

In previous seasons, CBSSPORTS draft coverage was provided by nfldraftscout (i.e. Dane Brugler and Rob Rang, primarily). As of this season, they dissolved that relationship.

The guys running things now at CBS are relative unknowns. Their big board has a lot of outlier takes on it. Sutton at #5, Rudolph at #10, Okoronkwo at #15, Washington at #19, Edmunds at #25, O’Daniel at #31, Ridley at #46, Landry at #52, and Hughes at #69 are some that really stand out to me.

Now being different does not mean being wrong. Time will tell. But I am seriously unimpressed by some of these takes, so color me dubious of the new crew.

I vote for Landry

Only people participating are eligible to vote, friend. If you read the first post in the thread, it will explain some things. Any team listed without a name next to it is up for grabs. Claim one (or two, if you’d like) and you’re in and we will count your vote.

Bummer, if I didn't have to go out of town tomorrow for a couple days for work, I'd participate. I only went back a couple pages, see what happens when you don't read the directions...always been my downfall.

A recent survey asked GMs which QB was ranked #1 (on NFLN)

To the best of my memory it was:
Darnold 5
Mayfield 3
Rosen 2
Allen 2

Point is, they all are talented and have their strong points.

Well, you could theoretically post a cluster of players in order of preference and we would give you your top choice.

Well if the Cardinals want to trade up with the Packer for the Cardinals first and second round pick, I can break off the negotiations the Packers are having with the Bengals, Ravens, Chargers and Patriots:coffee:.

How long before the Packers pick is going to post? Cardinals are after them

I said I will give it until tomorrow morning for people to get on and vote. At the moment, Landry is in the lead to be the pick.

I think I will be able to keep up on my phone tomorrow, in between things, I'll have my list with me so I can post ASAP for my teams. Plus they will be close together, Cards #15 and Lions #20, then I will have a long wait for my next picks in Rd. 2 In fact, I'll pick for the Seahawks too since they are open.

Wait...Rudolph at #10?

Lololololololol
Yea and then I drafted him at #12 for buffalo, with Allen still on the board... :) that's what I get for putting all of 3 minutes of research into my pick. Lol

I do like the size of Rudolph... some of the other qbs are medium to smallish in stature. I seen that big qb at #10 on the list and put in my pick. Went to play sawmill. LOL
I like Sutton wr too myself. He has great size, and is said to play aggressive. 4.54 40 tells me he takes a bit to get up to top speed. Jordy had that problem too... I read recently his routes aren't perfect... maybe not a great fit for GB. But a good fit for a chizzy buffalo qb. Jump balls, and short basketball passes... buffalo just got the big wr from Texans, (blanking right now). Would be a good duo imo.

All I'm saying is to a armchair GM, those two guys look the part...
