If healthy, I would go with Will Johnson or Josh Simmons - either one has top 10 talent, which we won't often have access to. If neither of them pass muster on medicals, I would really hope for a trade back, because Conerly and Higgins are the next two on my board and I would like them a lot more around 28 to 32.

Edit: never mind. Someone was reporting a trade with the Giants, with them getting #25 for a 2n, a 3rd, and a Day 2 next year. Turned out to be an unconfirmed rumor. I'd have been happy with that!

I'm underwhelmed. While fast, Golden is small. Can he beat our Doubs and Wicks for snaps? I seriously doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the #4 WR on the depth chart this season.

Just because he's small, I wouldn't compare him to Amari Rodgers but I just have a hard time seeing how he adds much to the offense.

Can someone please tell me why we decided to break the streak during one of the worst wide receiver draft classes rather than last year or prior stronger years? And why did we do it to draft a wide receiver that didn't break out until late, if we can even call it a break out and didn't even eclipse 1000 yards at any point? Did we turn into the Raiders and all of a sudden and get enamored with the 40 only? I feel like we just added another #2 to a wide receiver room with a slew of them, but I guess time will tell. Sorry, but I have to vent right now and I know most won't feel this way. Roast me now and later if I'm wrong.

That's what I was referring to. His height and wingspan. It's not fair to compare just about any WR to Amari since he was such an epic bust. I'm just wondering how Golden cracks the starting lineup even with Watson out?
If I'm not mistaken, Golden is primarily an outside receiver. How many short, but fast guys thrive on the outside? Packers don't need a slot receiver.

Letting Slaton walk now looks like a really bad move. After Tyliek Williams, the DT class drops off precipitously. No way he lasts to pick 54. DT's flew off the board. Not getting one in round 1 hurts. I'd of been a lot happier if Gute would've picked Williams in round 1.

Have you even paid attention to the prospect pool??? I'm so confused by your blind dedication to sourness that you ignore that they say this draft class is insanely deep at DT.

There are 8 guys still in the consensus top 100 and that doesn't include guys like Deone Walker or Jamaree Caldwell just outside it.
