Oates gets it right

Carroll, cant talk bout him ill get too upset.

I was a HUGE Carroll supporter, heck the guy was just so young when he came in.

This year, he had to step up.

First he goes out and gets in trouble with the law.

Then he gets beat by a TE..... A TE...... MY GOD!

Then he looked like he was blind last week. That TD can't be blamed on lack of awareness, etc. He is in his 3rd year and if he doesn't know by now that not watching the WR and playing by ear will cost him and the team a great deal, then he has some serious comprehension problems.

I honestly think more and more every week that we need a CB in the next draft and end the Carroll era in the green and gold.

I've been writing reports for the Draft for a few years now and I remember the draft with Carroll which was my 2nd "in deph" one. I had him rated as a late 2nd to early 3rd round pick. I had Green Bay taking Chris Gamble I believe with that pick. I was shocked that Carroll went to GB or ahead of Gamble for that matter.

It was the start to a very poor/unlucky draft when you look at it.

Donell Washington and Kenny Peterson make no mistake were highly rated coming out. Character was Washington's issue and that's why he slipped. Peterson was just a plain bust for us. He never developed.
