Boy - the Bills and Rams are having a shootout, and Stafford is putting on a clinic. Allen is playing great too. 70 points scored so far and it's still the 3rd quarter; almost 700 yards total offense, over 500 of that passing yardage. One of the most exciting games I've seen all year. Highlight reel plays over and over by both teams.

Edited: anyone with NFL Network, this is a game you might want to watch on replay. They finished with 86 total points (44-42), over 900 total yards, and 660 passing yards. Stafford had a QB rating of 132.7, while Allen had 82 yards rushing and 342 yards passing and a QB rating of 117.7 - and was the first player in history to pass for 3 TDs and run for 3 more. Which is surprising, when you think of how many dual-threat QBs there used to be in the old days.

When I saw the TV schedule, I knew this was the one I was going to watch, and it was easily the most exciting game I've seen all year. Well worth my time. SOme of the most amazing passes I've seen anyone throw all year, by both quarterbacks; they just kept pushing each other on and trying to keep up with each other down to the last few seconds of the game.

You hit the nail on the head with the Pokes. Jones has to fire himself to make things work. He pulls all the strings, and is the guy who is giving contracts to guys that aren't worth the bucks, and drafts like the class idiot.

Then he blames it all on the coaches, and guys who he suddenly says aren't working hard enough. It's what he's done since he gave Tom Landry the boot. Since then, he's taken credit for all the good jobs done by the coaches, and in identifying draft candidates, and when things go sour, blames it on the coaches. Now he no longer even listens to them on drafting.
