They have a winning record regardless. I don't like that he does not mix it up. But I respect your opinion.

McCarthy has decided to receive the ball in the first half as well (19 out of 63 times since 2011), although it seems not often enough for your liking.

Look at the breakdown of the play at 1:50 . Where the hell is Rodgers supposed to go with the ball? 5 receiving options, all completely blanked . Horrible play design. This is why the offense is struggling

That play was dumb, but if aaron would have threw the ball more towards the sideline instead of throwing it to the enzone adams would have had more of a chance to catch it. First down was only like 4 yards away. It also seemed like a designed roll out cause if not he had G-Mo open in the middle of the field if he stayed in the pocket a half a second longer. we only needed 4 yards.

First of all Rodgers could have thrown the ball to Kendricks for an easy first down on that play. In addition it's ridiculous to take a random play and use it as evidence to prove a point.

I agree. Regardless of what Mike McCarthy says about revamping the playbook, the offense is old and stale. It isn't appreciably different than the stuff they were running 10 years ago. Offenses and defenses continually evolve - it is the nature of the game. Mike McCarthy's offensive scheme is not evolving.
Sadly, you’re right. MM will play not to lose, whereas Rodgers will do whatever it takes to win. That’s going to create friction between two people with such different philosophies, whether they’re made public or not. For an example of a play to win coach, look at Doug Pederson in the last SB. The only upside to another disappointing season in GB, and by that I mean anything short of a SB appearance, is that we may finally be rid of MM.

lol I finally went and watched that link... Rodgers’ eyes never left Adams ... even though Kendricks was open underneath ..in fact, all of the other receivers had a brief moment right as they made theirs breaks where the ball could have been thrown to them. Rodgers had already made up his mind that it was going to Adams. Frankly it was actually a decent throw, but could have been better and with Rodgers... often is. I think if he had not been hampered by that knee he would have been able to make the transition from rolling out to throwing position a little quicker and more steadily. He probably would have thrown a little bit better ball. Either way... despite your point... he did have other options on that play.

I know there's always some dirt sport writers like to write about, but is this rift between
Mike McCarthy and Aron Rodgers important to you?

Patriots go though it on a weekly basis.
The game of football gets heated some times and players coaches say and act in a negative way
when the camera's are rolling, especially when D or O line plays poorly.

Your Thoughts!

This was a topic of conversation 5 years ago on Sports talk in Milwaukee. It's fine. It's 2 guys pulling in the same direction, but not always agreeing HOW.

Not much question that Rodgers is off his game this year, especially accuracy. Could be the knee, could be the major injury he took to his throwing shoulder last year. My guess is that Rodgers fixes that stuff. What was inexplicable to me was that D lineman chasing him down for a fumble. Rodgers has an uncanny knack/internal clock for knowing when a hit is coming. That was as weird as all of Crosby’s misses.
