You can google “Geronimo Allison tweets” and find them in an article. Should be the first link. Suffice it to say, he was very clear and explicit regarding his opinions of women.
Read those I guess. He sounded pretty high and not just from graduating High School. At least there was no coercian (sp) or anything like that going on. Guess he didn't know how good he would be. But if you are as angry at him for that I guess I can safely assume you did not vote for Trump. I looked at some of his new posts and they definitely take a different tack.

I'm not telling you or anyone else how to feel about him based on those, but if you're wondering where the anti-Geronimo sentiment comes from, I think that's a big part of the answer.

If this Cole Madison fellow never shows up, or isn't in time to make the roster, I'm going to throw a dart at Austin Davis, UDFA center out of Duke, to make the roster. This is virtually sight unseen, but his profile is pretty impressive.

He's 6'4", 301 lbs. His three cone is about 80th% and his short shuttle about 70th%. Ted Thompson's success in finding good offensive linemen later than normal coincided with keeping those two metrics low. He started his final 25 college games, all at center (he took over for the Packers' own Lucas Patrick). I'm not sure if he can play guard as well, but Patrick can which would make it possible to keep a pure backup at center.
What is going on with Cole Madison? Seems a bit mysterious.

No idea. Maybe he's in rehab? Maybe he's reconsidering football as a career? I don't have a clue.
Yeah MM has been pretty tight-lipped about it. I don’t like to speculate but yeah it could be rehab. If he had decided to walk away we’d know. I wish him the best whatever’s it is and hope he gets back soon. I like the pick and, whatever this means, he just “looks” like a Packers’ OL.

Some new notes that interest me:

-Rodgers was QB'ing for the scout team as the coaches seek to give their defense as many snaps against Rodgers as possible. He hit Robert Tonyan for a big play on the first snap. Then I saw that Tonyan made a great play to pull in a TD catch that should have been intercepted (from Boyle). I've wondered if Kendricks' roster spot could get snatched by one of the younger players. It would make sense to have a young, developmental player in that 3rd spot if they can play ST and actually show some talent worth the investment. Maybe Tonyan's making his move? He's 6'5" 235 lbs, played WR for Indiana State and tested pretty well. Most likely they keep Kendricks and stash Tonyan on the practice squad as he's in the midst of a position switch and needs to add weight.

-Kumerow continues to get snaps with the one's and Rodgers keeps targeting him. I think it was Michael Cohen that noted that Rodgers was chatting with Kumerow after practice today at his locker.

-Ryan Wood tweeted that Rodgers was really unhappy with how the young players practiced today and made it known.

Here's the quote from Rodgers on practice:

#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was pretty unhappy with the lack of energy from the young WRs during today’s scout-team session:

But in a way, it's more good news for Kumerow. Maybe he bumps off one of the draft picks-- St. Brown or Valdes-Scantling.

Been reading good stuff about st. Brown lately according to the camp tweets. Can’t wait till preseason games to see these guys in action. I don’t have high hopes for Kumerow, hasn’t he been on a few teams already and hasn’t been able to make a roster? We’ve had guys impress in camp before, who knows maybe his light bulb finally turned on or something.

Yes, he has. And he's older (26) as a result. And guys have been TC stars and then get unceremoniously cut and do nothing. But he was a small school, undrafted guy with real talent and NFL size, so it's not impossible that it's just been a process of development for him. But most likely, he's still getting cut.

All that said, it's been a lot of positive reports, playing for the first team, and getting a whole lot of good reviews from Rodgers. So there's a chance.

A lot of this is going to come down to special teams.

Some of the media will kill Rodgers tomorrow for his comments, but I absolutely love them. If getting called out by the best quarterback in football doesn’t light a fire under your ***, nothing will.

How would you know that? I’m not claiming to know he’s a bad lockeroom guy. That’s just the rumor. How can you definitively say that those rumors are just due to a coping mechanism?

It was said tongue-in-cheek. Let's just say that I'm not confident that the Browns as an organization are really all that great at developing players and i'm not sure that environment sets the best example for young guys.

My mistake.

Yeah, they don’t provide a good environment. But I also believe that’s a product of bringing in players who contribute to a bad environment. I recall there being concerns about Coleman when he was coming out.

If he keeps making plays andRodgers continues hanging out by his locker he won’t get cut. This could be a typicalPacker training camp story in the making. I think it’s great. Definitely stay tuned on this one.

Honestly— because his Twitter feed in college was an absolute disgusting horror and he’s a marginal athlete. The former makes it hard to root for him and the latter makes it easy to dismiss him.

You feel the same way about Josh Hader right?

I can't figure why people are so down on Geronimo.

Allison has limited upside compared to the rookies drafted this year. Currently he's the front runner to start opposite of Adams entering the season because of experience though.

This is the time of year, or at least in the next 3-4 weeks some tough decisions have to be made on who to try and stash on the Practice Squad. Obviously, too early to start speculating, but my gut says MVS is going to be hard to stash, unless he really stinks it up during preseason. He was a 5th round pick with some pretty decent scouting reports. Of course so was DeAngelo Yancey last year and he was safely stashed, so who knows. I don't think all 3 rookies are going to make the final 53, unless there is an injury or 2. EQ is another guy I see as having a ton of upside potential, he may be the one you have to keep on the 53 because of it.

Rodgers mentioned Allison, Yancey and Kumerow as having earned his trust during the early stages of camp. That might make it tough for the rookie draft picks to make the roster.

I'm thinking Donald Driver

I highly doubt Allison will end up being as successful as Driver.

Kumerow having earned Rodgers trust and according to several reports having impressed in OTAs and minicamp as well might result in him making the roster.

Kumerow isn't set to make more than $10 million this season though ;)

Kumerow making a roster in his 2nd or 3d try wouldn't be a shocker. He played for a small in state program, a good one, but still very small and limited by collegiate football standards. The knowledge and experience gap between a DI and DIII player are pretty big. Taking a couple seasons on a practice squad and then impressing enough to make a roster isn't unheard of. GB's Billy Schroeder took a similar path out of UW LaX before finally latching on and having a fairly successful career as a WR in the NFL. If this kid keeps catching the ball like they're reporting he's doing, it's going to be hard to cut him.
