But, aren’t his arms too short to play in the NFL?Lowry is often covered in the media as a guy who gets by primarily on effort. I do think he plays with strong intensity, but I'm not sure everyone realizes what a physical freak he is.
Compared with interior DL prospects, Lowry's 10 yard split, vertical jump, short shuttle, forty, three cone, and broad jump were all results in the 84th to 93rd percentile.

Such a shame, he could have been something...Oh undoubtedly!

Actually, I don't agree. They are giving the guy money to be a good player for us. Not ho hum.Give me a Rudy on a team any day. Lowry is that type of guy with a few more gifts, but he still isn't the whole package. Luckily we didn't go all out to extend his contract. It was a ho-hum move but something that a good GM should do in between the splash moves.
You call those arms?....... Please... more like flippersBut, aren’t his arms too short to play in the NFL?
Guys serious question. I'm looking at the other teams particularly The Cowboys and how they are now in a bind in which they're going to have to spend money to try and keep 4 of their main players (Zeke, Dak, Smith, Cooper) and that got me thinking we locked up our QB for years to come, but after Rodgers what are the other main positions that we need to absolutely make sure is secured going forward? I'm guessing Left tackle is one, but what else?
I'm sure that Martinez will be a top priority if he replicates past play, but no one else is a must.
Of our top FA in 2020, the only one I see as potential resigns are Mason and Geronimo, and that’s only if both step it up a notch this season. I feel really good about our immediate budget.
There's no reason to re-sign Crosby.
