Loser Pool Game

Well, the Broncos defense carried the team to a championship even with the offense turning the ball over only two years ago. The Bills definitely benefited from the Falcons losing Jones and Sanu during the game though.
Denver did not have a good defense. They had a great defense.

Atlanta lacks depth. Even at full force, they have only 3 skill position players at time that you need to worry about.

If we manage to get to the Super Bowl, Denver is probably the last team I would like to face.

I'm out. Looks like a lot of people got eliminated today. Who all is left?
I thought about picking the Bears, but was hoping to keep them for a loss later in the season lol.

Yet the Packers haven't been able to contain the Falcons' offense over the past three games at Atlanta.

Had the bogus pick call toward the end of the first half not brought back that completion I believe you'd have a different looking game. It was a momentum killer. For whatever whining and crying may be extant, this is an improved secondary.

As long as Randall and Rollins stay the hell away from Atlanta's skill position players.

You can argue that the secondary is better. But they weren't much better in week 2 against Atlanta. I'm glad others are getting more opportunities, it gives me a glimmer of hope for the defense. But in week 2, it looked remarkably similar. There's no doubt that our defensive front is generating more pressure, though. Which will certainly help.

The Packers haven't faced another good offense aside of the Falcons so far this season. Unfortunately their performance in week 2 doesn't make me comfortable about the unit being able to at least contain potent opponents.

"Potent opponents." That has a nice ring to it.

Panthers saved me from having to worry about getting my pick in every week. Yippee! Jerks.

Seems a few of you were eliminated yesterday, I am now just that much closer to the $1M prize offered up to the winner by the OP.

While the money, the trophy and the fame will be nice, I am going to have to stomach telling my friends and family that "Hey, I was at the top of the loser pool!"

I want to win that all inclusive Super Bowl trip that XPack put up for the winner!!

Seems the value of the imaginary prize keeps getting bigger.

But I can convince the mods to give you a 'Top of Loser Pool 2017' tagline at best. ;)

This week is getting a little tougher. Let's open the week with the Bucs losing at home

(That way there's a silver lining in it for me if I get knocked out and New England goes down as Florida could use a moral boost after all these storms)

I'm really looking forward to the Sunday night game in Houston this week. Go Oilers! :whistling:
Good Luck Gentleman!

I was gonna pick the jags, but seeing as proudsoftballdad picked them and they'll lose pretty much every week I'ma go with the Texans.

Edit:I changed my mind a bunch.
