I'd rather we open vs Detroit
If you're going to play a Thursday night game though, the season opener is the one to play, because then you've got three extra days to prepare for the next game, without the penalty of having fewer days to prepare for the Thursday nighter.1. I also am not a fan of Thursday night games, as far as the Packers are concerned.
Yeah, but it's a special occasion.I would rather see the season opener in Lambeau but if I were a Packer fan, and I am, and we opened in Chicago last year I'd be kind of pissed that we had to do it again this year and I'm guessing most packer fans would be as well. I wouldn't blame Bears fans for being pissed if they had to open in Lambeau again this year.

For a 100th anniversary game, the Thursday night Color Rush uniforms don't seem right. More likely we'd be wearing throwback jerseys, wouldn't you think?
Okay. I didn't even know it was mandatory that every team play a Thursday night game. Sounds fair.Teams that play in the season opener still have another Thursday night game on their schedule during the season though.
I think the odds are in favor of that LOLBroncos trade for that Flacco. Might end up worse than Keenum.

and they didn't just sign him when he was cut, they actually gave a draft pick for that?
Cowherd on his show made mention about Russell Wilson possibly wanting out of Seattle and that his wife prefers New York if possible. Twitter is kind of freaking out, but if you don't just look at the clickbait title and listen to him, it somewhat makes sense. Says he doesn't really expect it to happen, but in the agent world on the DL, that is the rumblings going on right now. Last year of his contract. His wife is an entertainer and being in the Northwest doesn't really do much for her. Going to NY would benefit her AND open up more doors for endorsements for him. Interesting to say the least. Wilson, Barkley and Beckham could be scary.
