LeFleur isn't hired to rebuild. He will be under pressure to turn the team around quickly. If he doesn't win a playoff game by his second year, he will likely be gone. Then again, Ray Rhodes was canned for being 8 and 8 in year with a HOF qb so maybe LeFleur has to win right away.

We need to give him some time, I get it. There is a SB coming up in Feb, if we win big, we should keep him. If we squeak out a win, we can find better. Fire him. I know what you are all thinking "but we're not even in the playoffs!" Well I'm tired of these excuses. I've seen Lombardi, by the sheer strength of his will and determination, bring the team back from worse situations to victory.

I'm guessing if the LaFleur hire doesn't work out and Gute's drafts and Free Agent choices aren't the best, both Murphy and Gute will be on the hot seat in a few years, warranted or not.
