This is very very bad. The one guy outside of Rodgers and Bak that we absolutely could not afford to lose. I am not confident. Not good.

Ian Rappaport has reported that Adams has had his MRI and it is not believed to be serious. Not expected to miss much if any time. Keep your fingers crossed.

slipping by? what were you expectations when the season started?
Quite high, tbh. After game 1 I felt we had a league winning defense and that offense has nowhere to go but up. I was thinking division and maybe even conference, esp after Brees injury.

Now ,I hope we get lucky to get the division, seeing everyone else is doing doias good too.

#Packers WR Davante Adams had his MRI today on his toe injury, and sources say it’s not believed to be serious. The team will be careful with their star pass-catcher. But if he misses time, it may not be much.

Agree. I had no ideal how these guys were really going to manufacture points without Adams, now I really have no ideal smh.

So basically what he’s sating is you’ll lose the next 1 or 2 games instead of the next 4 or 5 haha. Glass half full haha

I have never had it, but I hear the pain can be pretty brutal.

Oh my christ.. I had it. I still have it. Left big toe to this day doesn't bend right and thus, I walk with what my son calls a "bent wheel". The heel on my left dress shoe wears at a strange angle - I've toyed with the notion of buying two left shoes and one right, just to extend the lifetime of the pair. During the winter months, it is hard to get an ankle high shoe/boot on.

THAT happened 39 years ago. I was 21. I was always too stupid to know I was pain.

Sounds like you are getting way too high after the wins, and way too low after the losses.

I Love Adams. If we had an Amari Cooper type trade deal out there on the other side? I feel like it would substantially lift the Offense. MVS and Gmo become solid rotational guys or you move one to the Slot.

The Packers offense would definitely benefit from having a better #2 receiver behind Adams. Unfortunately it will be close to impossible to make a significant upgrade at this point in the season.

Houston doesn’t have any picks that one reason, and New England has a guy they drafted in the first round at Wr who they are extremely high on who’s going to come back that’s why.
What would the Packers have to give up to get a guy like Sanders? And it would be a rental, right, because I think Sanders is a FA after this year.

I’d be willing to part with a 4th, maybe a 3rd, for Sanders. And with Adams healthy, that makes the receiving corps pretty dangerous.

Seems like the team is, at least, a playoff contender. They’ll need more help at WR to make a deep run IMHO. The other guys on the roster have shown me very little, and Aaron Jones won’t be running for 100 plus yards if the D can drop the double teams on the secondary and focus on the run game.

Sanders would most likely present an upgrade over other receiver currently getting a ton of snaps with the Packers but in my opinion he isn't worth giving up a third round pick to acquire him.
