Maybe, the Rams have a heckuva line. He might thrive there.I think he’s generally worth about 5-7M playing outside, even at his age. Watch, he’ll probably end up with 7-8 sacks which is respectable.

one of my favorites. easy Packers HOF'er and if he makes it to 100 career sacks...he'll be an NFL HOF'er.
He'd have to turn back the clock 7-8 years and have 4 or 5 more like that and maybe. I don't see that happeningI highly doubt Matthews has any chance of making it to the NFL HOF.
he needs 17 sacks in in the next two years to get to 100. although unlikely it's doable considering the attention that'll have to be given to others on that D. he'll be getting playoff games too. He'd have to turn back the clock 7-8 years and have 4 or 5 more like that and maybe. Thor is a mythological figure. Nobody knows what he looks like.I always liked Clay. He reminds me of Thor quite a bit.
i wasn't talking about getting to 100, I was talking about the HOF. I don't think he gets there even if he gets to 100. Too many years where the product has been only average to above. Not enough HOF years in there to make it.he needs 17 sacks in in the next two years to get to 100. although unlikely it's doable considering the attention that'll have to be given to others on that D. he'll be getting playoff games too.
Thor from the movies and comic books then.Thor is a mythological figure. Nobody knows what he looks like.

Although I believe according to the Norse legends, he had red hair.
Bye Clay, been good having you as a packer, some highs some lows. i think he produced more this season than he had the previous 2/3, but maybe without getting the sacks.
as for the rams contract, obviously it's because he's worth it!!

If you can pick out on instance to judge him, I am going to pick this one and judge him. Big quitter.

Now that he's out in LA, maybe he can get some work in Hollywood, or at least some more commercials or endorsement deals.
Very fitting tribute to CMIII El Guapo. Well said.Clay played his heart out for this team, changed positions when we needed it, and was a big part of bringing another Lombardi Trophy to Green Bay. From the start, he was dogged by nagging hamstring injuries. He did his best but it's time to part ways. He'll be a fan alumni favorite for the rest of his life.
