It's really not that hard to figure in Mixon's case. And I like Williams more than Perine, based on the tape that I saw. Quicker and more decisive, without losing a bit of the physicality.

No, Michael is pretty bad. Between long gainers there are several games where you get little or nothing. That's because if the hole is not right in front of him he can't find it.

For months we'll be regaled with future star performances in non-contact practices. It seems like the "MVP of training camp" designation is like the old Sports Illustrated cover kiss of death (bathing suit issue excepted ).

I think you can get a lot out of preseason games, while keeping in mind that those minimal opponent vet snaps have business decisions built in and the competition is mostly second, third and fourth stringers so as not to overboard.
