He's actually pretty good I think

honestly...

I feel he was overrated as f*** as an NFL quarterback as he never won anything(besides maybe Marino, Jim Kelly), as that's how pro players are "generally" ultimately regarded, but he's been a pretty damn good commentator

I dunno I felt someone gave him the memo to be more neutral after the first quarter, I dunno if he dislikes the pack like aikman or he likes to cheer for the underdog. He sounded pretty salty about a controversial call before the game even started. After the first quarter he seemed to be a lot more neutral.

but his insight on the plays and how/why they're run and what is happening has been entertaining

It was. I like him. I like the enthusiasm. I like that he's watching and talking about what he sees. Just let the game be the action. Doesn't need to fill air time with rehearsed fluff. The game seems to be the focal point again. Even in a game that flowed as poorly as this one.

Against Cincy, it seemed like Romo was rooting for the Packers and their comeback. Doubt he dislikes the Pack.

I think Romo did a great job again. Cowher on the other hand was STILL babbling at halftime about Chicago coming back and winning. It was like he picked up where he left off after the storm delay

They have to sell the game otherwise everybody who isn't a Packer fan will turn the game off....

Out of curiosity, I looked at ESPN box score that has the percent age each time winning.

Before the Bears' first TD, the Packers had about a 97% chance of winning. After, it hardly dropped to 95%.

In other words, that TD was nearly meaningless to the Bears chance of winning.

I have no idea how that Bears team got so close to Atlanta and beat Pittsburgh.

The Bears have played pretty well at home this season but looked dreadful on the road vs. the Bucs and Packers.

They are all fine. Honestly, who cares? The only announcer that has ever legitimately negatively affected my viewing experience is Tom Heinsohn.

Romo doesn't dislike the Packers. Underneath it all, he still bleeds green.

Wrong? Ya'll keep mentioning the route. I'd be my life that Cobb would not have been able to cut on that route if he was getting tackled like that by Adam Jones. I don't understand why you can't get pass the Wisconsin bias of Romo.

You're all attacking me when I said he did well, but on that play, he was out of his mind.

What?

Romo was talking about how Allison cut towards the sideline, then at about the numbers broke toward the inside, ran a few yards and got hit once the ball got there. The break by the numbers is where he was supposed to create separation, and he sure as hell wasnt getting tackled there.

It's not even an insult towards Allison, it's more of a compliment to Cobb.

I’m in the crowd that thinks he provides some very interesting insights that most fans wouldn’t pick up on. I think he is a good addition.

I can't think of an analyst I've enjoyed more than Tony Romo. A complete breath of fresh air. Keen insight and lots of enthusiasm. And I think he's going to get even better.

The man is from Wisconsin and grew up a Packer fan. Of course he doesn't dislike the Pack. I bet if you cut him he'd bleed green.

He's a throwback. Most entertaining commentary since Madden hung it up. Do you think we could get Fox to trade Aikman to CBS for him? I would LOVE to see him take over for Larry McCarren in a few years, but I know it'll never happen.
