Calls to Fire Dom Capers Went Silent on Sunday as the Green Bay Packers Defense Led Team to Victory

It's way too early to make a fair evaluation of the Packers defense. While they definitely performed at an elite level on Sunday and I'm cautiously optimistic going forward fans have to realize the unit held the Seahawks to only 10 points last season as well but failed to stop good offenses on a regular basis. The Falcons game this week will be a huge indicator on the direction the defense is headed in.

We've seen this for years. The defense plays well at home or against a poor offense and we have to read countless articles about our improved D. Then a week passes, and we get lit up on the road or against a good offense.
