Ah, but in accordance with the standard use of stats and verbiage around here, if one takes "these days" to mean since the 2006 season, it's only the Pats.
Additionally, you even look at teams like the Steelers, Broncos, Seahawks, that haven't won multiple Super Bowls since 2006 but have appeared in multiple Super Bowls, unlike the Packers. Any way you want to slice it, the Packers have underachieved.

There's literally 1 game different 1 year between these teams and we all know the Packers choked that year and should have been that super bowl team. 1 game, 1 year. and most of those teams had a number of years with less success than GB in that same span

Or if Dez catches the football in the game before and scores a TD maybe we don't even get to that game. We can play the what if game all day.

Bottom line, the Packers have underachieved considered who their quarterbacks have been. Especially who the quarterback is now.

We could, I wish Dez would have caught the ball. It would have made the Cowboys fans think they actually might have won something. It would have been even sweeter to watch the Packers March right down the field for the go ahead score with the almost too much time remaining. The Cowboys defense was barely even standing in the way by that point in the game. I hesitate to call what they were doing defense :)

and Favre was as big of reason himself why the Packers didn't get to more while he was here.

anyway, yes it's disappointing and the Packers could have won at least 1 more. But they didn't. But i'm not using 1 game in 1 season as evidence all these other teams are accomplishing more. It's a tough game and a touch goal.

There's no question that I'm far more critical of what the Packers have failed to do under Rodgers as opposed to Favre.

Favre played a huge role in the demise of the Packers on several different occasions.

I can't say that a team that choked away its best chance to be deserving of a Super Bowl spot though.

I don't either, but we all know that team was very capable of a super bowl. They didn't, and i'm not saying they did. But even so, with that choke away, the point was we're talking about 1 game further in one single season difference between GB and those other teams named while those other teams had numerous season going nowhere compared to gb in that same span.

It was a perfect storm that took it away.

Yeah, and that makes it all the more frustrating that GB never advanced further. They were in the playoffs every year, at one point they were tied with the Patriots for most consecutive playoff appearances (eight), and they were in several NGCCGs. They were perennial contenders, but there always seemed to be one team in the league at any given time that was better. We probably had the best team over that period of time, but when the other teams peaked, they peaked higher. Very frustrating.

It's disappointing because the Packers have gad the most efficient quarterback in NFL history over that period while other teams were able to have more success while not even being close to as talented as the Packers at the mpst critical position in all of football.

I know frustration and disappointment. I felt it too. so many years where it always seemed like something. and our best chance to get back we have to go to someone else's house with crushing defense and a QB on one leg. and we still should have won that game easily. Trust me, I get the frustration.
