Brewers just lost one big cog of the 2019 team. Catcher Yasmani Grandal signed a 4 year deal with the White Sox for $73M.

His bat and efforts behind the plate are going to be hard to replace.

Keeping an eye on Moose, I am afraid that he is next.

While I like Yas that is too much for us to be paying a catcher on the wrong side of 30. Pina isn't chopped liver and we could use the money saved here (and Anderson's) to address other pressing needs this offseason. I'm just glad Grandal is now in the AL.
