No, they literally can't, at least not with regard to the cap (maybe they do magic in their spare time). Figuratively maybe. The last contract he signed was for 4 years totaling $32M with $16M guaranteed. But IMO that's a moot point because actual and cap money needs to be spent on high priority team needs.

The way it REALLY works, is precisely this way:
In the NFL, the only money in ANY contract you will EVER SEE is the
guaranteed money. "Teams" screw over players ALL THE TIME, every single year. Like clockwork.
