Backup QB Position

There's seems to be older QB's this year that refuse to retire but still want to be part of football.
Case in point Arron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and a few more.

Is there a time in their career that they should be looking to be sign as a backup once they get to a certain age or would they feel this would tarnish they legacy?

Look at the experience they could offer to a starting QB and the knowledge they could share to a team.

I think that any QB that thinks they might want to get into coaching should go that route. Also, any QB that wants to still hang on to their career, be in the locker room, and collect a couple million without getting hit should be a backup QB.

Flacco should be a backup QB. Wilson can still start and someone will take a chance but he is also teetering on it. For once, its refreshing to think that we have a more-than-capable backup QB on the roster. I think that the last times that I truly felt that way were Matt Flynn and Doug Peterson. Of course, in the 90s there were all kinds of great backup QBs to Farve - Hasselbeck, Detmer, Brooks, Brunnell....I'm probably missing one. Then you pretty much have to go all the way back to Zeke!

The Titans had a good backup without a decent starter last year. Luckily we stole that backup
