I will work from home on Friday but they want me in the office on Thursday. Many shops will be closed on Friday and/ or Saturday and have already blocked up their windows. Police across Germany at every corner in the city, it's a little bit frightening.

Have seen this in a documentary on TV before, it's unbelievable. Sad to see what happens with the legendary Maracana and all these other newly built venues. Wasted money but certainly a few officials and contractors became rich.

London and Sydney i seem to remember did a good post games study for most of their venues. However i think the Olympics should be held in the same place every time and all the competing countries make a contribuition to that. But thats too much common sense others and the IOC.
