If Cobb plays as well as last game, it will help fill the void. Also, this is much different than last year. We have Cook, Geronimo and Adams is playing much better.

Another thing...

Ty Montgomery can be lined up anywhere. I see him catching some big balls out of the backfield and/or lined up in the slot.

This team has some weapons, man.

Bingo.

I'm not going to suggest that losing Nelson isn't a big deal, because it is, but Cook is the one piece that we cannot afford to lose right now. Yeah we lost Jordy last year, but Cobb is fresh and re-emerged, Davante was nowhere near the player that he is now, and Allison has made some HUGE strides as the season has progressed. I hope that he is ready to step up in a game of this magnitude.

And then putting Cook in the middle of the field makes the whole thing work. Losing Jordy is a bummer, but the team needs to step it up another notch or two and guarantee that Jordy plays another January game.
I also think Ty should be all over, maybe even give him more snaps as a WR. Give Michael some more carries, he ran better than Ty did last Sunday.

Even had Jordy been able to play on Sunday, I think he would have been limited and possibly used as nothing but a decoy. So with that decision made, I know his production can be made up by Cobb, Adams, Cook and Allison. My only negative thoughts is how this plays out in AR's head. His #1 target and close friend won't be on the field with him and he has a lot of time to think about that, something that he didn't have (time to think) against the Giants when Jordy went down. Hopefully, AR can channel on the successes he has had in the past without Jordy and continue to have the faith that he seems to now have in his remaining receivers.

I'm thinking Cook is the guy to go to in this game. That's one thing we didn't have when Jordy was out last year, an athletic TE like him to pick up the slack.

The NFL didn't fine Leon Hall for his hit on Nelson during last week's playoff game.

That and Adams moved nothing like he did his rookie year or this year and Cobb, when healthy hasn't looked like he did last year either. and our Oline hasn't been a revolving door with Barclay seeing lots of time. There are a lot of things different this year, than last, not including Jordy Nelson

Expanding on Captain's note: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/13/no-fine-for-leon-hall-hit-that-injured-jordy-nelson/
PFT has confirmed with league that Hall was not fined as a result of the hit. NFL rules prohibit “lowering the head and making forcible contact with the crown or ‘hairline’ parts of the helmet against any part” of a defenseless receiver’s body and it appeared that Hall lead with that part of the helmet when making contact with Nelson while the receiver was trying to make a catch.

Hall was not penalized during the game, however, and the league office agreed that Hall’s contact didn’t cross the line into finable territory.
Now this supports my theory, but I've learned many time (Fail Mary pass) that the NFL will also make calls to fit their narrative as well. They aren't consistent, but they do seem to be saying that they didn't think this was illegal/cheap/dirty. Maybe that would be different if this was the middle of the season.

Prayers for Jordy but I think the Pack can overcome this. It will be incumbent upon Adams and Cobb to step up and play like they did against the Giants.

There is a reason that helmet makers put a warning label in their helmets:

While I don't think Hall was intentionally trying to hurt Jordy. He was in violation of the rules & his hit was very dangerous to both Jordy & himself.

That reason being if you DO get hurt the player can't sue the helmet maker.... no different than the warning on ladders.
