That was probably the biggest concern. Looks like we just lost one of our 2 best WR’s for the season.

Mist don’t think about we played without Watson, Doubs. That’s 2 of our top 3 WR.
Then only played Love, Jacobs and Musgrave for less than 18 of a 60 minute contest.

KC played without their Starters and they lost 0-38. We lost in a fumble and punt Return and a walk-off FG
Big difference. Much of Our Bench played their 1st string for 3 Quarters and still had the lead with :02 sec
Good point.

I'm certainly not sure but there is a chance LaFleur is not showing everything offensively. Our offensive game plans last year in the two playoff games looked better. At least there were some open receivers down the field.
so this game was just a joke for the fans?!

I hope he's holding back because our receivers are not getting open enough. Detroit was playing minnesota really tight. May be what we'll see in the playoffs from the eagles. In that case, twelve personnel sets might be the way to go. With both TEs going out for passes.

IMO ML runs hot and cold. Sometimes he calls a great game and other times a real stinker. It's like he never watched any film on Chicago. But the biggest surprise was Hafley's choice for play call on the last play of the game. In fact his game plan wasn't so great either.

Sorry Gang but this team and coaches are not ready for the playoffs.
They're nowhere close to being ready for the Eagles. This looked like a preseason run through, at best.

I'm just going to talk about Hafley here. I don't know what's gotten into him. I don't recall seeing any piece of **** 3 man rushes until two games ago. God I hate those. Is he thinking he's doing so good that he can just out think the other team now? I'd rather go down swinging. And I hope he doesn't give Valentine a hard time. That would be classless. Who else besides him and LaFleur didn't know they had enough time to complete and clock it? Boggles the mind.

This occurred in a non-playoff game with minimal consequences so the shock wave is minimal. Had this happened in a very significant contest Hafley and MLF would be getting the Donnatell treatment.

I always thought he was a scapegoat. Didn't he go on to have a long career as a D coordinator?

I remember 4th and 26. Seemed like it would have been a good time to call timeout and get organized. Seemed like a good idea then. Seems like a good idea now. Blown opportunity…

do not care who they played...starters or not...GB lost against a stinky team and when a team loses to a stinky team...THEY STINK MORE and it was a joke.."what the hell was goin' on out there?"

La Flatuence...coach your team and stop looking at the big screen!

He did have a good career. Not a great one. The legend goes that Sherman nixed the blitz which had got McNabb 11 times! Firing Donatell angered a lot of our defensive players. Imagine losing a game in which you sack the opposing QB 11 times.

I just watched the last 7 minutes of the first game. I have to say that LaFleur used his timeouts wisely. We just could not stop them. A bunch of first downs. And some because Hurts was able to run up the middle after he started getting crowded.

One other thing that has bugged me more with Matt recently is that it seems like he has lost a bit of his identity. He's more indecisive and it's like he can't figure out how exactly he wants to coach or a clear vision for his team.
He seems to have a hard time balancing between being aggressive and being conservative and it doesn't always feel terribly consistent or logical even.
We are frequently opting to take the ball first which is generally seen as an "aggressive" move. We are okay with taking deep shots early (I think back to our game vs the Lions last year as a good example of a really aggressive start) and pushing the ball down the field to get us in a good position. But then it feels like as soon as we hit any snag or setback it's like we immediately dial all that back and go into damage-control mode.

And I'm not saying he needs to be Dan Campbell all-gas all the time. But I guess the short of it is yeah, it just doesn't really feel like we've got a super clear vision/identity at the moment and Matt doesn't seem as confident/self-assured as in the past. Not sure why that is but IMO it's negatively impacting him and the team as a whole
