Speaking of cap issues, the Vikings just put a big anchor on their ship. I think Jefferson is a great WR, but really wouldn't want this contract if I was a Viking fan.

The Packers "deferred" nearly $10M in cap space from 2024 until 2025. Yes, they gained cap space for 2024, but they lost the same amount of cap space for 2025.

now I’ll start by saying Jefferson is one heck of a WR. That said he’d better put up ~2,000 all purpose and ~20TD or this was not a good value at all.

I don’t want anything bad to happen. But imagine him injuring earlier in the season and missing a bunch of 2024. That contract would suck! Jefferson could make Khalil Mack in Chicago seem like a bargain

This was my absolute favorite thing I’ve heard him say to date when asked why he didn’t go to the KC Chiefs. This guy has a Champion’s Heart, he just needed Champion Teammates
