t I can’t quite get my mind around why it seems like we keep coming out with 5 step drops and routes that require 6 seconds of protection to develop when our OL is getting absolutely victimized.

That's a coaching thing. Line missing 2 starters, looks like Runyan banged up and keep doing 5 step drops and expecting there to be time.

Really souring on Dillon.

Detroit D ranked 28th last year. How long do we hang with Barry? Meanwhile, we have an O line that without Beer Chugger is getting tossed around like rag dolls.

Well, our D isn't good but we have virtually no offense. This is a MLF thing. Short week but totally unprepared for facing what last year was a bad defense.
Honestly, I feel this is by far the best team we've faced, not to mention that we're putting forth this effort at home? Equals a bad day, I mean, do we even have 25+ yards of offense? And we're just letting Detroit do what they want on offense. We aren't stopping them, they are just making mistakes.

We're going to have good games and bad games, this is a bad one. But it's hard to go from Sunday, with everyone being so high on Love, to this.

To be honest I feel like in a lot of ways our defense has been better than I expected. And that’s coming from probably one of the strongest Barry-out guys here. But they have constantly been put in such “minus” situations. I mean barring the opening drive what has Detroit’s average starting position been, like the 45 yard line?

On the other side of the ball I just don’t know what to make of it. Detroit’s defense was godawful last year and they’ve utterly suffocated us at every turn. Is it just due to our OL injuries? Have they improved THAT much on defense, or is our offense THAT much worse than we thought? Are we just shockingly unprepared or something? It’s a real head-scratcher to say the least. I think LaFleur is a good coach but man I can’t help but feel that it seems like he’s more and more frequently getting outfoxed and sometimes badly.

Love has no time. The OL is currently beat up and they aren't doing their job. Not much he can do with 1.3 seconds.

Commentator on Prime just said Aaron Jones wouldn't be able to run the ball against the Lions. We'll see about that.
Unless our line can block someone even the great Jim Brown would get nowhere. Tight ends not even close to blocking anyone. Team needs a FB.
