Why have a pre-season game (Chiefs) with a team you will face in the season?
Why have a pre-season game (Chiefs) with a team you will face in the season?
Im going to go out on a limb and say Rodgers will probably play way more pre season snaps than previous years combined. I would hope...
I hope so too, sometimes it seems the offense starts the year rusty and I think that's a direct result of less work for Rodgers and co in the preseason.
While that's definitely true I'm fine with Rodgers and the offense being a bit rusty entering the season and not risk starters getting injured in meaningless games.
Not worried about the Raiders????Why have a pre-season game (Chiefs) with a team you will face in the season?
That's the battle. Avoiding injuries. At some point you have to play the game though - this season, like last, we'll have to start out hot vs. the Bears. With a new playbook and offense I can see them keeping the starters in a little longer in preseason.
