Well, last week was a lot of fun, the scoring got shook up a little and wow, along with Poppa San's 100 burger a few others were just one point away from hitting more of them. But things are heating up, I'll tell you with midseason now here, this is one week I cannot wait to see how things play out in

So here's where the scores sit now after the big shakeup last week:

And rules for the newcomers to see

1 point for 1 game picked correctly

2 for at least 2 right

3 for at least 3 right

4 for at least 4

Get at least half the week's picks right 10 points

Get 75℅ or more right 20 points

Miss only one pick 40 points

Get them all right and it's 50 points

And then guessing the correct score of games WITH THE CORRECT WINNERS


Get the final score right on one or more of your predictions and that's 100 points for each one you get right.

If you get very very lucky to get all the scores right, that's a 3000 point jackpot.

And you can make your pick for any game at any time up until Kickoff. Once it's kicked off and you haven't picked though, you lose your prediction on that game.

All right, I'm going to take a few big gambles in this week and man oh man I can't wait, this is going to be fun. Here we go:

Thursday Halloween Night

Cardinals 26 49ers 24 - I'd never call this any other game, but you want trick or treat for Halloween night? I'll go way out and predict Kyler Murray and the Cards hand the 49ers a stunning bag of tricks here.

Sunday Early

Texans 30 Jaguars 27 - Close one to call here, and we've certainly seen you can never rule out the new Stache dude, but I think in the end Deshaun Watson pulls another one off to get that game winning FG.

Bills 24 Redskins 7 - I'll say the Redskins finally get back in the end zone and end the no TD drought ... But one is all they're going to get today

Panthers 27 Titans 10 - Tannehill got them a couple wins so far, but he's going to do very bad this Sunday.

Eagles 20 Bears 17 - I predict a slug fest out here in this one, but it all comes down to who do you trust more? Wentz or Trubisky? No brainer there.

Colts 23 Steelers 13 - Brissett quietly trying to get the Colts to a top seed playoff spot

Dolphins 21 Jets 20 - Dolphins get their one W of the season here

Chiefs 34 Vikings 14 - Oh I can't wait for this one. Not only is Patrick Mahomes jumping up and down ready to get out there and light em up, but Kirk Cousins is going to choke big time out there and give Packer fans a huge laugh. Raptorman should be prepared for embarrassment.

Sunday Late

Raiders 38 Lions 35 - Could be an air show in this one, and a fun one to watch. Raiders have come close several times this year, and this time they'll get it.

Seahawks 24 Buccaneers 17 - Gonna be a close one here, but gotta take the Sea chickens at home in the Link

Browns 27 Broncos 20 - I got the feeling last week will not be the last time we hear Flacco put his unhappiness on public display

Chargers 38 Us 31 - Hope I'm wrong, but defense can only play with fire for so long before getting burned


Sunday Night

Ravens 48 Patriots 20 - Oh yes that's right, no more cupcake garbage dump opponents for the overrated Pats. Get ready to get lit up on national television by Lamar Jackson and company and get a big fat L in your schedule. Overrated defense exposed.

Well have to see how desperate they are. Their season is on the line right here I'd say. They lose this game, they're done, or at least with a brutal slate of games in the following weeks I'd say they have little to no chance of making the playoffs at 3-5.

The only bad thing I fear today is that we gave the Vikes a blueprint to beat KC with. We kept attacking them with Aaron Jones in the passing game and they had problems stopping that. I'd be willing to bet Darrell Bevell is going to try something similar with Cook and Mattison. Those guys plus Diggs will have to be their focal point.

Well, despite the loss today, things aren't so bad.

Ohh man what a funny pack of entertainment SNF was too. Ohh man I was so right about the Ravens kicking the Pats around out there and only 11 points off my score prediction there.

I wonder what the talking heads are going to say about that vaunted defense now.
