And rules for the newcomers to see

1 point for 1 game picked correctly

2 for at least 2 right

3 for at least 3 right

4 for at least 4

Get at least half the week's picks right 10 points

Get 75℅ or more right 20 points

Miss only one pick 40 points

Get them all right and it's 50 points

And then guessing the correct score of games WITH THE CORRECT WINNERS


Get the final score right on one or more of your predictions and that's 100 points for each one you get right.

If you get very very lucky to get all the scores right, that's a 3000 point jackpot.

And you can make your pick for any game at any time up until Kickoff. Once it's kicked off and you haven't picked though, you lose your prediction on that game.

Today's earlier takeaways

1. Broncos find a million and one ways to lose it

2. NY Jets and Atlanta win again BUT ... fools gold?

3. Kyle Allen just may not be the future in Carolina after all ... Well who knows. Maybe they should move on from Cam but it's looking risky to do that as well now

4. Tom Brady is still playing bad, but the Jekyll Hyde show in Philly continues and Wentz is as much a part of that as anything


Well if Atlanta keeps playing like this ... Does Dan Quinn save his job? No offensive TDs allowed in 2 games. Crazy

On the flipside, Ron Rivera could be in trouble. I think he's a pretty nice and classy guy, and he did give Carolina their best season in 2015. But his overall record hasn't been that great, and I just got this feeling he got kept after last season because it was assumed the trend of having winning seasons and playoff appearances every other year was going to continue. Right now, that does not appear to be happening.
