2 ST Miscues should NOT have happened

Hate to point the blame but the ST gaffes should not have ever even happened.

Blocked FG:
AR makes a great play, and throw IMHO with the weather conditions and pressure, to set up:
- 1st and 10 at the 14 Yard Line
- 26 seconds left

As an experienced HOF QB, you 100% absolutely CANNOT take a sack/FF. He has to get rid of the football, throw away, back of the endzone, etc.

Blocked Punt:
Our D forces a Turnover on Downs which is incredible. Our Offense proceeds to:
- Go 3 and out

This is the SAME THING as 2014 as far as I'm concerned.

Should the ST have been better? Of course lol

But it should NEVER HAVE come down to that in the first place

Glad I read this. Just going by the thread title, my initial reaction was "duh", of course they shouldn't have happened. Maybe a quick title change to 'shouldn't have had a chance to happen'?

Aaron Jones is 100% to blame for this. After he catches the pass all he has to do is run along the sideline as fast as he can and make sure he gets tackled out of bounds. You now have 1st and goal and you still have your timeout left. The timeout insures you will get 3 plays , including 1 run if so desired.
