Always Fun To Read These Stories

Well, I would trade it for Starr. Unless you mean as a coach

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

As I said, normally I spend the entire day under the bed, so I don't have to experience the jokes.

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

This sort of thing is why I like to stay hidden under the bed on April 1st. But so far today I've seen all the jokes coming.

Yeah, the Saints stunk, but still I think it was like the only shutout of the season in the NFL. Or at least the first. I was getting some high hopes around that time, since the defense was looking so good. But then they went flat and never won another game. There have been a lot of...

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

Yeah, that's why it was so aggravating. From Rodgers' "run the table" and "R-E-L-A-X", the team usually got stronger as the season went on. Until they inevitably laid a giant egg in the NFCCG.

I agree, mostly. But on the other hand, the Packers lost their last three games. Right when you want them to pick things up, the wheels kind of fell off at the end there.

And hopefully, 2024 was a down year for him.

    2025 Draft Prospects for Packers

Always thought it was a good idea to have tall receivers who could grab the ball above the defensive backs. I remember Michael Irvin and Alvin Harper from the Cowboys used to irritate me with that. It didn't help that the refs would call pass interference on us while their corners could mug...

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

He might well be unsatisfied with the way his time with the Jets went, and would like to leave on a higher note.

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is probably pretty close to an average starter these days.

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

I remember for a long time on this forum, the majority felt that Rodgers was a better quarterback than Brady. That although Brady was good, Rodgers had a better passer rating in the playoffs, but Brady played on teams with good defenses, while Rodgers did not. After awhile though, once Brady...

Are we completely eliminating the possibility that a Rodgers-led Steelers team might be pretty good?

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

I knew someone here would find it if I brought it up. :) But it looks like my hunch was right, it's a fairly rare event.

We had those two consecutive #1 seeds, where we were the only team in the NFC to have a bye, under the new playoff rules. But still couldn't get over the hump. I've brought this up a lot, but it really sticks in my craw. Seems like such a wasted opportunity, just like all those NFCCGs we...

State of our former QB, Aaron Rodgers

Oh, I was fine with trading him. Not because I thought he was some sort of SOB or whatever, just because by that time it was apparent we weren't going to get over the hump with him. It was time to move on, see what we had in Love (I'm still not sure), and hopefully while we could still get...
