Every last one of them will have to step up if we want to play next weekend.

Yes. The O line better play good. But does that mean you want to keep the TEs in to block? I'm hoping on some plays to get both of them out for a pass at the same time while two receivers go deeper. Probably means keeping Jacobs back to pick up blitzing. But maybe if Jordan escapes to a side; Jacobs can go out into the flat on the other side.

Sometimes you do that for run blocking, sometimes for play fakes. In lieu of the fact that we do not use a FB this is crucial in 3rd and short or inside the 10 yard line. The Eagles know we have Doubs, Reed, Wicks, and Malik who can stretch the field. The line of scrimmage is where we need to beat them.
If you watch the 2010 playoff game against the Eagles it was not a high scorer but we won with 3 TDs. Rodgers was not attacking with the big weapons he normally would. We had long slow drives using the O line, James Starks, and John Kuhn. We kept Philly and Vick off the field. And our D had enough left in the tank to seal it.

Interesting. Something that has opened our playbook is that we now have 2 very athletic TE’s. It’s almost like having a Kraft + Tonyan pair available. If we run more 12 Person we can keep 1 home if there’s no stunt and leak the free TE for a short pass.
In other words get the ball out quicker and just stay in your blocking lanes.
The Key is they MUST be ready for a quick 4-5 yard throw in their face. Those quick shorter gainers don’t pad the stat sheet, but they keep our D off the field and run the clock. Also it frustrated their D blitzing and never getting home. They begin to tire.
