Guy looked really good in pre season, dinged his shoulder falling into the end zone, and hasn’t been seen or heard of from since!! If there was a time we could use his services
It would be now!! I was rooting for this guy to take that 3/4 wr spot. Sucks we can’t see what this guy can do with Rodgers until at least week 8. We need all the gritty playmakers we can get.

Seems like you know he’s on IR, and yet you’re asking where he is.

Yes, but I haven’t heard anything I’m regards to his progress? How’s he look in practice? Is he even practicing? I guess I should’ve specified that.

They can rehab and attend meetings and such but I don't think they can practice while on IR.

I do know players are not allowed to practice for 6 games after IRd.. if I have that correct? If that’s the case we might see him back in practice near the date of Wednesday Oct 17 (give or take). After our Monday night game

I see. I wasn’t trying to clown you; I just didn’t know what you were asking.

I’m guessing we won’t hear much reported on Kumerow until he gets close to eligible to return.

Given the nature of his injury, I wouldn’t be concerned about his ability to play.

Despite expressing how nervous I was with our experience of depth at WR starting the season, I would not be in favor of resigning Jeff Janis. I doubt his stint in Cleveland honed his WR skills anymore than they already...weren't..... when he left Green Bay.

Bring on the Rookies!

Lol tough crowd! Janis made some great clutch catches for us. How soon we forget Packer nation lol. But in all seriousness I need to find the real story on Janis. I refuse to believe this guy couldn’t contribute here...hell, if anything he was the best gunner in the league would you all agree? That kept Jared Bush around for several years, and we know how bad he sucked as a corner. There’s gotta be more to this Janis thing in Green Bay.

He was a FA and decided to go elsewhere. He wasn't worth much here. I'd say he's been replaced as a gunner because we have a better punter and he offered next to zero as a WR.

No one forgot. A few plays doesnr make a good receiver though.

He had one year (or like a 6 game stretch) where he was an elite gunner and then the following year was just ok

Janis wishes he could be nearly as good of a WR as Bush was a CB

Lol Bush was a terrible corner. Also he doesn’t have to be Julio Jones....but I think with some reps And more time Janis could’ve been a solid contributor on the offense. Hell if anything a decoy with his speed. He did average like 8 yds a carry whenever he ran the reverse:whistling:

Bush was a Depth DB, and if "terrible" what does that say about Janis? You're not a decoy if you can't do anything but run fast. you just give a cushion because you know he's isn't breaking anything off sooner because he's proven time and time again he can't be where he should be and isn't very smooth. Easy to read and break with him. and with a cushion that negates most of his speed. Maybe he can beat you to the other endzone, but he can't beat you in an area where he's going to get the ball. Anyway, there are 2 teams now that have have decided he's not a solid contributor on offense. He's been available for any team to pick up for a month and half now and still no takers. Appears a lot of teams don't think he offers much.
