Esa Pole OT Washington St is scheduled to be the 1st Top 30 visit for the Packers.

Packers talked to him at his Pro Day, and at the East/West Shrine Game, from what I have read. 7th Rd/UDFA is his likely slot prediction

6'7" 319 lbs, played exclusively LT the past 2 yrs at Washington St.

Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M is in for a Top 30 visit today.

He is quite athletic, but my issue is he had only 4.5 sacks over 3 seasons. (1.5 all 3 years) A plus for Stewart is he does seem to be a pretty decent run defender, but there should be better options at #23.

I hope we don't draft him. He compares very closely to fellow Aggie, Myles Garrett. Physically but not production wise. Myles had 37.5 sacks, 145 tackles and 7 FF. Stewart had 4.5, 65, and 1. Both played 3 years. When you are much stronger and faster than anyone you face, and you still can't get the job done, something is missing. Either toughness or aggression is missing. It will be that much more difficult for him going against guys much bigger, faster, and technically skilled than anyone he faced in college.

Gute beware! I hope this is a smokescreen.

I completely understand why people wouldn't want him, but I can't quit these types.

James Pearce from Tennessee is in for a visit.

This was a must for Gute and co. His character questions are absolutely bringing hesitancy to his stock…if he falls to us or close Gute needs to know what they think they’re getting because dude is really good

Falls to us in which round, are you thinking?

Not a top 30, but Gutekunst was the only GM who attended Tet McMillan's private workout.

Seems like there is a pretty big disparity with him between what the media types think and what the NFL thinks. A lot of the media sees him as a top 5-10 overall prospect. But guys who are plugged in mock him more in the late teens, early twenties.

Personally, I think he would be a slam dunk.

Tet I also think is already a known commodity to some teams and instead of GM sent others.

I concur he is a no doubter for us if there…I’d understand going elsewhere but dude is my WR1 and to get any positional #1 not K, P or LS in the twenties is ALWAYS a solid pick

Oh he is absolutely going in the first round…unless he is just an autrocious character red flag. Dude is a beast and crazy productive
Thanks... reason I asked is, I keep seeing all this chatter about "character concerns", but no matter how much googling I do, the only thing I can find is a lot of references to a single traffic stop (a year and a half ago) where he apparently made a few bad decisions. Other than that, he is very well regarded by his teammates and coaches as a no-drama, no-BS player and teammate, who never complains about his NIL deal or mumbles about entering the portal.

If that traffic stop is the entire list of his "character issues", then I think it's all a lot of nonsense.

It's not. He didn't practice very hard. His agent is his GF. His mom is involved. And he carries himself like he is superior to his teammates. Heard this on the radio today, and surprised we are interested, if true. Doesn't seem conducive to a team environment.

Oh-oh. I'm reading the wrong spin, then. That's not good! Thanks for educating me.

Pole is an interesting guy. I still can't believe that guys this big can get anywhere close to 5-6 seconds in the 40 yard, but there he is at 5.2 something. And 23 reps at 225 lbs. Strong and fast.

Gluten can do just about anything he wants at #23 and come away having made the right decision.

Bond and Pearce both carry some rumors regarding their character/personality, so it makes sense that they would want to spend some time with both guys.

Isaiah Bond WR is in for a visit.

Thanks Capitol. Interesting guy. NFL WRs are getting bigger, well at least the wideouts, 6'2" and taller, 215-220 lbs.

Many times these smaller guys add weight in the NFL, so a 180 lb guy can be expected to bulk up by 10 to 20 bs. Can't do anything about height. Speed is speed and a real need for GB.

A lot will depend on what Gluten does at #23. If he passes on a WR, then Bond starts to look good in round 2. Probably won't last past round 3.

Everyone here already knows how high I am on Shavon. If I get real solid intel on medicals I'll be firmly in the camp of using a first rounder on him even more.

How do you compare Revel with Barron? I've seen Barron go between 10 and 15. Not sure about Revel.

I just posted my updated Top 100. I have Barron as one of my 18 first round grades and he is ranked 5th on my current board overall. Shavon is currently at 39 and positionally is my CB4.

Totally different guys. Barron is vastly more moveable, elite inside or outside IMO...but I think he will be like Trent McDuffie who now has had seasons where vast majority of snaps were inside and then outside and he excels both. Jahdae can absolutely be that IMO. Shavon will IMO be a high level outside CB if his traits and his digestion of the next level maturate and blend. There is NO OTHER corner in this draft that has the ceiling potential of him IMO...he could under shoot what he could be by 10% and still end up the best in the group potentially.

Thanks. Where do you think he gets drafted?
